What are the names of Earth's layers?

The Earth's ecosystem is divided into levels, with each having its own set of features. These levels are classified as troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, and exosphere as they move vertically from floor level. The exosphere gradually fades into the region of interplanetary space.

Troposphere:

The lower layer is our air's final layer. The troposphere extends vertically from ground level to roughly 10 kilometers (6.2 miles or about 33,000 feet) above sea level. We dwell in the surrounding air, and almost all weather events occur in this most restricted layer. Most mists appear here because the great majority of water vapor in the surroundings is hunted down inside the lower atmosphere. As you ascend into the lower atmosphere, the pneumatic force reduces, and the temperature drops.

Stratosphere:

The stratospheric is the layer above the stratosphere. The stratosphere extends from the lowest point of the atmosphere to approximately 50 kilometers (31 miles) above the ground. The infamous ozone layer has been tracked down to the stratosphere. This layer's ozone atoms absorb high-energy brilliant (UV) sunlight from the Sun, converting the UV heat into energy. Unlike the troposphere, the stratosphere grows hotter as you rise! That trend of rising temperatures with height shows that stratospheric air lacks the graphical glitches and air currents of the troposphere underneath. Commercial planes fly within the lower stratosphere because it is less turbulent and provides a smoother ride.

Mesosphere:

The mesosphere is the layer of air above the stratosphere. It rises to a height of around 85 kilometers (53 kilometers) above our planet. The majority of comets catch fire in the mesosphere. Unlike the stratospheric, temperatures continue to fall as you ascend through the mesosphere. Near the top of the layer, the coldest temperature and pressure in the Earth's atmosphere, around -90° C (-130° F), can be found. The air in the mesosphere is considerably too thin to breathe (the air pressure at the bottom of the layer is well below 1% of that at sea level and drops more as you ascend). 

Thermosphere:

The thermosphere is the layer of extremely rare air just above the mesosphere. The thermosphere absorbs high-energy X-rays and Ultraviolet light from the Sun, boosting its warmth to hundreds or thousands of degrees. Unfortunately, the oxygen in this stratum is so little that we would feel cold! In many aspects, the thermosphere resembles outer space rather than an element of the atmosphere. Many satellites revolve around the earth inside the thermosphere! Differences in the energy amount emitted by the Sun have a significant impact on the level of the layer at the top and its temperature.

Exosphere:

 

Some experts contend that the thermosphere is the topmost layer of our atmosphere, but others consider the exosphere to belong to the true "final boondocks" of the planet's vaporous envelope. The "wind" in the exosphere is, as one might expect, exceedingly fine, making this layer considerably more room than the thermosphere. To be sure, the air inside the exosphere is constantly - albeit slowly - "splattering" out of Upper orbit into space. There is no visible upper limit beyond which the exosphere vanishes into space. Multiple definitions estimate the maximum height of the exosphere between 100,000 km (62,000 km) and 1.3 million km (120,000 miles) above the Earth's surface. The last choice, esteem, is nearly at the Moon!

 

Ionosphere:

 

 

The ionosphere, unlike the other layers discussed above, is not a discrete layer. The ionosphere, on the other hand, is a succession of zones in the troposphere and exosphere in which elevated the Sun's radiation has knocked electrons free from their parental atoms and molecules. Ions are electrical charges in molecules and compounds that develop in this manner, giving rise to the name ionosphere and endowing this area with unique features.
