The CSK batter will join team members in China for the Asian Games. Kohli will likely come in place for Ishan Kishan, and Pandya will slot in place of either Prasidh Krishna or Ashwin.

Speaking about the second ODI, India beat Australia by 99 runs via the Duckworth-Lewis Method (DRS). Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill scored sparkling tons, while spin twins Ravindra Jadeja and Ashwin picked three wickets each.
