what are the inferiority complexes in short heighted individuals?

In a study published in the journal Psychiatry Research, scientists showed that lowering a person's height may make him feel worse about himself and more likely that others are trying to harm him.

'' Height is taken for granted and we feel taller when we feel more powerful, '' said Daniel Freeman of Oxford University, who led the study. He explained that in this experiment, when the height of the people decreased almost, they felt inferior and this made them feel extremely dishonest.

Professor Freeman's team examined 60 older women in general society who were prone to 'thoughts of distrust' 'and introduced them to the subway experience.

Participants experienced the same 'trip' 'twice, once in their normal height and height which had been reduced by about 25 inches.

Most participants reported negative emotions - such as feeling unworthy, unloved and inferior - when they were in the lower stage of testing.

These negative thoughts have been translated into an increase in paranoia, the researchers said, which included making participants think that someone in the train car was staring at them, had bad intentions about them or was trying to provoke them.

Many studies have found that, on average, tall people not only have high-quality jobs (for example, sales managers are taller than salespeople), and earn more money. In fact, a recent study in the Journal of Applied Psychology found that people made $ 789 more per year than their average height. In other words, a person 6 feet tall can earn $ 166,000 more in a 30-year job than a person 7 inches tall. The findings are helpful even after researchers have taken control of such factors as gender, weight, and age.

“Length affects how people view themselves, that is, self-esteem, and how they are viewed by others, called social respect,” explains study author Daniel Cable, PhD, professor of organizational ethics at London Business School. "People's self-esteem and self-esteem affect individual performance and the way managers evaluate performance, which in turn contributes to job success."

In one case for young people, science shows that tall people are also considered attractive.

In addition to things like strength and self-esteem, leg length can have a miraculous effect. People with shorter legs are considered less attractive than people with slightly longer games, a study found in Evolution and Human Behavior. Sorry, supermodels: Research has also shown that overweight limbs reduce attractiveness.

There may be an explanation for evolution as a result, note the researchers. Very short or long legs may indicate “genetic diseases, health problems, or weakened immune responses to negative environmental factors that occur during childhood and adolescence.”

People who are shorter or taller may have a condition called dwarfism or gigantism, respectively. About 1 in 15,000 people have dwarfism, defined as an adult 4 feet 10 inches (10 inches) or less. Genetic mutations that shorten bones are the main causes, according to Michael J. Goldberg, MD, chief of the Skeletal Dysplasia Clinic at Seattle Children's Hospital.

On the other side of the spectrum is a very rare condition called gigantism, in which people grow taller, usually due to an increase in growth hormone during childhood usually caused by a malignant tumor in the pituitary gland.
