What are the important National level exams that life Science students should attend.

       In modern life, we fight very hard to achieve our goal.  Many of us working very hard.  But the biggest secret is that one who wins works hard as well as smart.  So, here are the some of the smart ideas to achieve our dreams especially for life science students.

       Now, we will some of the important life science National level exams which makes our life more successful.  By taking this exams, we can make our success step even more smarter.  Here, we can found 20 National level exams and its importance .

1. CSIR NET UGC : 

It is one of the most popular National level exams for candidates who want to become a professor or lecturer.  Its conducting body is NTA National Testing Agency.  NET JRF qualified candidates are eligible to get admission into PhD in prestigious universities.  This exam is also mandatory for some central government recruitment.  Notification releases in the month of February and September.  

2. GATE : 

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the position of JRF.  GATE score is also used by some public sector undertakings for their recruitment and by several other universities in India for admission.  The result is valid for three years from the date of announcement of result.  Exam occurs once in a year, at the month of September.

3. DBT : 

 

Department of Biotechnology announced by the month of February by the NTA .  Candidates who have completed the post graduation or B.tech in any life science disciplinary with 50% can apply for the exam.  Conducted once in a year.

 

4. ICMR: 

 

Its conducting authority is NTA, at the month of April or May.  For the position of JRF and some offered programs in Ph.D. and research programme.  It is valid for six months. Eligibility includes M.Sc or M.A. degree from a recognized university.  

 

5. BINC :

 

Bioinformatics National Certifications conducted by DBT.  Candidates in the final year or having Bachelors/Masters degree in life science are eligible.  The successful Candidates are also eligible for availing JRF for pursuing Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at recognized India universities and institutions.  It is valid for two years after the announcement of result.

 

6. BITP : 

It is managed and look after by Biotech Consortium India Limited, once in a year.  It is get admission for Ph.D. at recognized universities.  Eligibility for BITP includes B.Tech, M.Sc in life science discipline.  

 

7. ARS NET :

 

Agricultural Scientist Recruitment conducted once in a year.  It is conducted to recruit Lecturers / Assistant professors in state Agricultural universities and other Agricultural universities.  Candidates who are applied to get 50% marks or get 75 out of 150.  Notification releases in the month of April and may.

 

8. JGEEBILS :

 

Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Science co ordinated by the TATA Institute of Fundamental research.  Candidates must have done graduation in any discipline with a minimum 50% of marks in important subjects then seek admission to the various course in participating Institution.
