The king said- "No, I do not believe in you." A friend of that young man was present there. He went ahead and said - "I give bail to this friend of mine, if he does not come back, then you should hang me."
The king was amazed. He had never seen a man who would be willing to lay down his life for the sake of others.
The emperor accepted his prayer. He was given six hours. The young man rode on a horse and left for his village. His friend was sent to jail. The young man calculated and saw that he would return in five hours, but when he was returning after meeting the children, his horse stumbled and fell and did not get up again. The young man also got hurt, but he did not lose his courage.
Six hours passed and the young man did not return, his friend was very happy. After all, what could be more important than this that the work of a friend can come. He started praying to God that his friend would not return. While the friend was being taken to the gallows, the young man reached there.
He said to the friend- "Look, I have come. Now you go home send me off."
The friend said - "It cannot be. Your life has come true."
The young man said, "What do you say! I have got the punishment.
The king was watching the friendship of both the friends. His eyes twinkled. He called them both and said – “Your friendship has made a deep impact on my heart. Go on, I forgive you." From that day onwards, the emperor never oppressed anyone.

A mill tied to the feet puts shackles on the feet of the best swimmers. Similarly, friendship of bad person causes destruction and leads to downfall.

History is replete with examples of true friendship. Everyone is familiar with the true friendship of Krishna and Sudama. Krishna was a prince and Sudama was a poor Brahmin. But money never came between their friendship and Lord Krishna helped Sudama. Similar friendship was also between Ramchandra ji and Sugriva.

True friendship requires cooperation from both sides. It is important to have faith in both. Without it friendship cannot be strong. It is also necessary to have trust in friendship. Jealousy, jealousy, envy have no place in friendship.
