What are the good and bad habits of average Indian people?

What do you think when you hear the word "Indian"? We have so many cultures and languages. We've got an uncountable variety of dishes, arts, and lifestyles. But people from anywhere in India have some similarities. Let’s discuss some of our good habits that we have.

1. We treat guests as gods: If you’re an Indian, you better know that we consider any guest a god. If you’re a foreigner, and come to India, I bet you’ll never forget the hospitality of Indians. You’ll find so much love, and care, that you can’t imagine.

2. More than half of our gods are female: You’re thinking that, why do I talk about this topic? But this is a serious thing; we’re the only people who have female gods. Whatever the situation of women in India, in our culture, rituals, and religion, we consider women more valuable than men. You also see, in many families, daughters are treated as the most precious members.

3. We worship natural resources. You better know that we worship natural resources like rivers, mountains, land, metals, and fire. In our country, natural resources are considered important things for our lives, and in our country, we consider natural resources to be God.

4. Indians are very friendly and talkative: If you visit India, you will not feel bored and alone. Because Indians are such talkative people, We don’t feel shy about talking to strangers. We’ve some issues with greetings because average Indians start the conversation directly without saying hi, hello, or how’re you. Many of us do not even say thank you or goodbye at the end of the conversation.

5. We are very creative, and make-shift people: We Indians are very make-shift people. We believe we can do our work with limited resources, and elements. Many times, it works, but these habits spoil our lifestyles a bit.

Now, let’s come to the point of our bad habits. The average

1. Indian spreads filth: Many of us have a mentality of throwing garbage near our homes, and no one opposes it. Spreading filth near us, deep-rooted in our thoughts. I myself have noticed that no one thinks even once before throwing plastic rappers here and there.

2. We polluted the rivers while we considered them gods: We worship rivers, but also throw filth and garbage into them. This looks like a double standard and is unfair. Our system and the government do the same. They’ve connected all sewage systems to the rivers.

3. When it comes to gender equality, India is not a great country: In our Veda and Purana, women were valued more, but in today's world, some rights, and freedoms are taken away from them. But this is not happening in every family. Some of us believe in equality, and our situation is improving.

4. Average Indians spit, and pee everywhere: If you’re walking down any street in India, you'll see trash piles, open drains, and poops in the open. You also see people peeing at any corner in public places. They also spit anywhere they want, and this is so common in India. But not everyone is like that. Some of us take care of these things. But many of us think of public places as toilets.

(Note: My intention is not to hurt anyone’s sentiments or beliefs. I do not mean to say that all Indians are the same. There are some good people too.)
