The fifth generation of computers, which began in the 1980s and continues to the present day, has been characterized by advancements in artificial intelligence, parallel processing, and networking. This era has seen the development of powerful workstations, servers, and supercomputers, as well as the widespread adoption of the internet and cloud computing. Additionally, the integration of AI and machine learning technologies has significantly expanded the capabilities of computers.
