What should we do to sleep well?

Last week when I opened the door when the bell rang, the delivery boy, about 40 years old, handed over the parcel with outstretched hands and kept my face away so that I couldn't see it. He was more concerned about escaping through the [email protected] door than following protocol in delivering the parcel. Although I did not expect any other courtesy from him, I was worried and doubted when he did not look.
I took the parcel, and before I could see who had sent it, wearing glasses, the delivery boy disappeared. Since the parcel was sent by a friend, I got busy opening it. About 20 minutes later, when I went under the society building, I saw the same boy hurriedly leaving the ground floor lobby. On inquiry, it was found that he was charging his mobile as the battery was exhausted.
This Sunday evening, when I was reading the news on mobile that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said, 'If home delivery of pizza-burgers, smartphones, and clothes can be done, then why not ration,' then the same delivery boy rang the bell. Rang—a coincidence. Since then, he was wearing the same T-shirt, so I remembered his past behavior. Since it was evening, I tried to look at his face by starting the dialogue, ' will you eat something? ' She agreed. When I said it would take a few minutes to pack up, he said, 'Sir, by then can I charge the phone in the building's security cabin? I scolded him as to why they plan so poorly that the battery often runs out. He said, 'Sir, the battery drains due to continuous phone calls and seeing customers' location on the map. ’
When I said that I could give him a battery (power) bank if he likes it, which I do not use, tears of joy came to his eyes. He waited patiently till I searched for it in the power bank drawer. The short interactions with him told me about the lives and untold stories of those like him. He has traveled all over the city in every lockdown and what he earns from this is not enough to support his family and maintain a roof over his head.
Despite the low pay coming late, they go to work without complaint. Between the danger of the virus and the scorching sun, try to go home as much as possible every day. They also buy vegetables and medicines for the elderly for a good tip, to meet the day's needs. Maybe that's why they mostly have lunch after 5 in the evening, and many depend on free food served on the street. But they also need a power bank, which gives them employment opportunities. Some of them also worked as 'surveillance boys' for local municipalities and checked the fever of citizens by visiting cramped areas for Rs 12,000, which involved visiting about 200 homes daily. Due to this, some got infected, and the whole family got affected.
What are the benefits of getting enough sleep?
Adequate sleep is essential not only for the body but also for the mind. Due to less sleep, diseases occur in adults, and memory also starts decreasing. Why is it necessary to sleep at night
Some people stay awake during the night during work or travel. Most people think that if they do not sleep at night, they will sleep during the day, but it is not so. Growth hormones are released in the body while sleeping. Most of these hormones are secreted only at night. Sleeping during the day can relieve fatigue a little but does not compensate for growth hormones. This is why for those who wake up at night and sleep during the day, their immunity decreases. There is an imbalance of hormones. They start having problems with lifestyle disorders like blood sugar, thyroid, etc.
Keep distance from mobiles.
Most of the youth keep watching mobiles on the pretext of not sleeping. The problem also starts from here. Not only does this reduce the moisture of the eyes, but due to irritation in the eyes, there is no sleep. If no one sleeps, If it comes, keep a distance from a mobile or other electronic gadgets. Suppose possible to read some good books. Reading books not only helps in getting good sleep but also gets enough sleep in less time. Change the notion of a late-night party: Everyone needs a minimum of seven hours of sleep.
