What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Vegetarian And Non-Vegetarian Food

Both veg and nonveg food have been included in the human diet for centuries.  We need food every day to survive and maintain strength.

Choose between vegetarianism and non-vegetarianism.

There are always arguments on whether food should be vegetarian or non-vegetarian.  Some people prefer meat and some vegetarian.  People who eat vegetarian, i.e., grains, lentils, fruits, vegetables, milk, etc., are called Vegetarians, and those who eat meat, fish, eggs, etc., are called Non-Vegetarians.

These days some people have started giving up any kind of food related to any living creature, even vegetarianism.  These are called Vegans.  And they do not use milk, curd, ghee, and cheese, etc., in food. Being a vegetarian or non-vegetarian has its own advantages and disadvantages,, which are as follows:-

The benefits of being a Vegetarian

Food is good only if it contains protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, mineral salts, fiber, and water.  Cereals, pulses, vegetables, fruits,, and milk, etc., included in the vegetarian diet are rich in all these beneficial elements.

In addition, many types of antioxidants and vitamins are found in vegetarian food,, which helps fight diseases.  Vegetarian food is low in saturated fat and cholesterol.  Because of this, vegetarian food is less likely to cause heart problems.

Vegetarian food has a lot of fiber which keeps the intestines clean.  It controls blood pressure, does not increase cholesterol, does not cause diabetes, and prevents cancer.

Due to fiber, appetite is not felt quickly, which avoids overheating.  In this way, vegetarianism prevents obesity.  Vegetarians are less likely to be overweight.  Obesity brings with it many types of diseases like diabetes, blood pressure, heart disease,, etc.

Disadvantages of being a Vegetarian

Vegetarians may be deficient in vitamin B12 and zinc, certain omega-3s, vitamin D3, sulfur, or blood over time.  The iron present in vegetarianism is not easily absorbed in the body. Therefore, the lack of blood often arises, especially in women, due to menstruation, etc., this problem is more likely to occur.

It is not that the problem of heart, diabetes, or blood pressure is less.  People who reduce physical activity, smoke, etc., or eat more fried and more ghee get this problem.

Therefore, it would be completely wrong to say that eating vegetarian food cannot be harmful.  In addition, fruits, vegetables,, etc.,, contain a lot of pesticides. Many kinds of harmful chemicals are used for cooking fruits.  Cow, buffalo milk is extracted by injection of oxytocin which can cause cancer.

Benefits of being a Non-Vegetarian

Some non-vegetarian foods are rich in iron and vitamin B12.  Iron from non-vegetarian food is absorbed more easily by the body.  So there is no shortage of blood.  Eating non-vegetarian food does not cause zinc and selenium deficiency.

Meat is high in protein and has good quality.  It provides many essential amino acids which are essential for physical and mental strength. The omega 3 fatty acids found in fish protect against heart disease and cancer.  Cod liver oil is derived from fish which is rich in omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin D.

Phosphorus obtained from meat is easily absorbed by the body.  Therefore, the benefits of phosphorus are more than the benefits of meat.  After calcium, phosphorus is the most abundant element in the body.

Most of the meat is prevalent all over the world.  If you are abroad or have traveled abroad and are not a non-vegetarian,,,, this can be a huge problem.  There will be very little vegetarian food.  Seeing non-wages everywhere will make you sad,, and you will not be able to enjoy the journey.

Disadvantages of being a Non-Vegetarian

In developed countries, intestinal and lung cancer, breast cancer in women, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, cholesterol,, diabetes, etc.,, are more common, especially intestinal and lung cancer. After research, it found the reason for this to be meat-eating.
Because non-vegetarian food does not contain fiber, the amount of fat is excessive.  Except for a few vitamins, the amount of essential vitamins is meager.  Now even in countries like America, people are increasingly abandoning meat and adopting vegetarian food.

By understanding the aspects related to vegetarianism and non-vegetarianism and seeing their advantages and disadvantages, only you can make these decisions whether you would like to become a vegetarian or become a non-vegetarian.
