What are the 5 Things you need to know about writing articles

As I said at the beginning of my article, there is a very simple task that needs to be taken into account when it comes to blogging: the way of writing your articles. There are many ways how to write an article that can fit in with their niche, and some are more useful than others. Still, if I look at something, in particular, I usually prefer to pick up on these few rules, as they are really important for success. And, just in case you're not sure what to do or what doesn't work, let me explain. All we should say is no two ways to write, and it's good to have a variety so we don't become confused. Here, there is also one rule that can make a difference in your ability: read other writers' works! So, without further ado, here are five things you need to know about writing your first article.

What Is A Blog? Generally speaking, a blog is a website or a collection of pages to publish content on, which means that an author has control over its content. In this case, I have chosen to publish on Medium since it is what I know best and has already been well-received among my readers. Also, due to lack of time I needed to give myself enough time to complete all necessary steps.

In Medium, a text editor will be assigned to you. If you want to start writing with HTML or CSS, the easiest way for doing it is to go to File > New file (in the file), but it has never been harder to find other options, such as WordPress. WordPress is a popular platform that allows us to install plugins to our blog's code, so we can write in any type of media. At the same time, WordPress remains free and easy to use.

To add features or to change settings, you'll find the function under "Appearance", such as "Theme". Then choose either to use "WP Custom Template" or "Templates." After finishing the process, click on Save changes, and, later, you'll see it on your browser or in Google Analytics. You can download it from those services too, and after downloading it, change the theme for your blog, or you could create a new one. Or, if your choice is different, download WordPress templates from the Gutenberg Store.

WordPress has made it easier than ever to create a personal blog online, which means that even if you don't know much about programming or coding, by the end of the article, you can finish it a lot faster than when starting with a piece of paper. But before you start, try out these few tips.

1) Keep Your Post Short

As I said above, long posts are useless. I used to think so, but I changed my mind recently after reading several books on writing and realizing how crucial this factor is. Too often people write long articles about everything, but the conclusion is always not good. We would like to show ourselves as great artists and would like to have all rights in it, as well as if it didn't make sense to present ourselves in these conditions, we'd be ashamed of them. Therefore, to avoid this problem, keep your post short. Only when you feel that all information or details are necessary, you can focus on the core idea (the idea itself can be more important if you don't know it yet).

A small example is my story of The Great Gatsby because it's about my life experience and has only three parts: title, main idea, and conclusion.

2) Write In An Interesting Way

The biggest mistake lots of bloggers make when writing their articles is thinking about how to impress the reader. It sounds a little bit silly, but, to attract attention, your material must be well-organized, complete with interesting ideas and facts. Remember: it's not about trying to trick or deceive anyone; just tell the truth.

Also, remember there are two types of writing, namely: informational and aesthetic. Informational writing is good in terms of sharing knowledge and helping people to understand what it is like. Most importantly, it will help you achieve better results in your future career. And the opposite of that writing is based on aesthetics. This is why it's called art, isn't it? How do you describe your artistic writing? By your favorite color.

3) Use Your Headline

To Tell Your Story The headline is a part of your writing that tells what your story is all about. And, in general, each heading should have a positive meaning. Since great headlines show the audience who the writer and his/her point of view are, it's better than the headline's purpose is obvious from the start. You can have an overview and then change the order and have a proper discussion. For instance, I wanted to tell a short story about my thoughts on working in sales, but I wasn't able to fit the topic in front of the headline. Fortunately, I chose this one and gave my reader enough room to be satisfied.

4) Make A Powerful Title

At the top of your introduction section, always be prepared to answer the question "Why?". Why should you consider leaving that job? What's the reason behind going to school? Why do you want another year of studying? Why did you decide to leave the previous company? The answers to these questions will allow your reader to understand what kind of person the writer is, and how successful he is. And the next question, the second paragraph will provide the readers with more information to decide.

5) Avoid Peeve

Your writing style can be determined by social norms, but these are different for everyone. Some people might see humor as inappropriate, while others, on the contrary, love it. I've come across a bunch of situations where girls were offended by young boys saying funny jokes in class, as they think this form is funny, but I disagree. Just think from this perspective and, after understanding, think about how it influences your life
