What are seven common SEO mistakes

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Most of your quality traffic comes from search engines, so when you build a website it is important to know the strategies, tips and tricks that will give you the best place on search engines. Errors can damage your site in search engines without your knowledge. I have encountered a number of websites where beginners who are unfamiliar with search engines make similar common mistakes.

Do you make these seven common mistakes?

 1. Invalid keywords: Many webmasters use non-essential keywords. Make sure you choose the right keywords related to your company. Explain. Think of the names of web users who will be writing to find your website. Inventory overture keyword selection tool is one of the most popular services to help you choose the right keywords. Use the Inventory overture keyword selection tool to find out what people are actually typing on search engines.

 2. No Backlinks: Backlinks are very important in the design of your website, so this should be one of your most important links. An easy way to get back links is to request them. Visit sites related to your website and request a link exchange.

3. Bad web design: Design errors can damage your website. The error I have found that causes many new webmasters not to build their website is to make sure that it appears correctly in various screen resolutions. Your website will be the first impression and remember that the priority is everything. Can you afford to pay regular visitors because your website does not look good on their monitor? I personally use 800 x 600 screen resolution. If you design your site to look only with 1024 x 768 screen resolution, I have an annoying horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page and I have to scroll horizontally, to see all the content of your page. There is a shutdown. There are many other web design errors, but we will cover that in another article.

 4. Excessive use of images and flash animations / having too many images on your page: While graphics and flash may be pleasing to the eye, too many images will not help you get better. In fact Google and other search engines cannot read image content. Only Flash pages without text; so there is nothing to be learned from search engines.

 5. Not Using Title Tag: Title tags are really important in search engines. A common mistake I see in many new webmasters is that they leave the title tag blank or use unimportant keywords.

Your title is the first spider we see on your page. You should not only put your company name in the title tag, but ad keywords about your company. Use the Inventory overture keyword selection tool to find related keywords.

 6. There is no other feature to the tags: As I mentioned above, search engines cannot make spider images. The alt image tag helps search engines understand the title of the image. Make sure you add another attribute to the whole image.

 7. Bad anchor ext.: Whatever you do, do not use "click here" or any other unspecified link text. I am guilty of this myself. Proper anchovies can help your level. Your worksheet should describe the page you are linking to. For example when you link to this article, your anchor text might read, "Rose DesRochers' Seven General SEO Errors" instead of "Click Here to read this article." Anchor text is very important to your level.

These are just a few common mistakes you should avoid making. These SEO errors can be a major reason why your site fails to rank well in search engines.

Make sure you keep your website relevant with search engines and people. Search engine optimization is a daunting task and an ongoing process. Invest a little time and learn the right strategies and not only will your traffic come, but it will also improve the quality of your page.
