French bean
French bean is one of the most generally used vegetables all over the world. There are several kinds, the most extensively used being the French bean, also known as common or order bean.
The sap is high in carbohydrates and fiber. They should be eaten free-heartedly to keep diabetes under control.
A decoction prepared from the sap is an excellent remedy for diabetes. This decoction is prepared by boiling 60 grams of fresh order bean capsules, after removing their seeds, in four liters of water on a slow fire for four hours. It's also strained through fine muslin cloth and allowed to stand for eight hours. One glass of this decoction every two hours during the day is recommended. This treatment should be continued for four to eight weeks along with the specified diet restrictions. The decoction must be made fresh every day, as it loses its medicinal value after 24 hours.
The juice uprooted from French sap is also precious in controlling diabetes. It stimulates the production of insulin. The case must still be on a controlled diet.
James Anderson of the Human Nutrition Research Center of the US Department of Agriculture insists that the same foods that lower cholesterol and fight heart complaints are also excellent for diabetics, who are at high threat of heart complaints. This puts foods like sap that are high in answerable fiber in “ largely recommended ” order.
Lettuce
Lettuce belongs to that group of vegetables that contain three percent or lower carbohydrates. It's among the important foods that can be specified for diabetes. Diabetics can use it freely.
Onion
The onion has been used as a treatment for diabetes since ancient times. Recent exploration studies have proved that this pungent vegetable can lower blood sugar in diabetes. In recent examinations in India, scientists fed onion juice and whole onions in doses of 25 to 200 grams to a group of diabetics and set up that the lesser the cure, the briskly the drop in blood sugar situations. It made no difference whether the onion was eaten raw or cooked. It was set up that the onion affected the liver’s metabolism of glucose, or release of insulin, or averted the destruction of insulin.
In fact, as beforehand as 1923, experimenters had detected the blood sugar lowering parcels of onion. And in the 1960s, scientists insulated anti-diabetic composites from onions, which are analogous to the common anti-diabetic medicinal that is used to stimulate insulin conflation and release.
Soya bean
Soya bean is one of the most nutritional foods of great value in the treatment of diabetes. The journal of the American Medical Association quotes from a composition by Dr. Christian Becker published in an authoritative German Medical journal. In this composition, Dr. Becker points out that the Soya bean chuck
is precious food for diabetics. It contains veritably little bounce but is rich in fat and protein, both of excellent quality. Soya bean has steadily grown in significance from a remedial point of view, since 1910 when studies indicated it to be a precious part of a diabetic diet. Its utility in diabetes is attributable not only to its uproariousness in protein and its delectability but also to its capability to beget, in some unexplained way, a reduction in the chance and the total volume of urinary sugar in diabetes cases on the usual salutary restrictions.
