Personal Attributes are the first topic we cover. It would help if you had a wide range of skills and abilities to succeed as a leader. Leadership in the public and private sectors relies heavily on these qualities. The following are some of the essential features of a human being. To act ethically, one should be aware of the ethical issues and concerns relevant to their industry; one should also bring up and discuss ethical concerns before making any decisions; and one should resist pressures from the organization or its partners to meet goals by bringing up and discussing ethical concerns. It is part of strategic thinking to look at the organization and assess the external environment and how you can best respond to it. Realizing that operational objectives must be linked with the organization's strategic goals is also part of this process. Vision and strategic objectives can be effectively transmitted and supported by all levels of a business if visible personal support is delivered. Listening and responding to signals from both the internal and exterior environment; using both internal and external communication channels; understanding and responding to both the internal and external surroundings Asserting the importance of listening attentively to what others have to say, even if you disagree with them. Continuously acquiring and analyzing information from within and outside the organization and then using it by establishing different channels and networks to ensure that the data is constantly flowing into the business. Personal experience and knowledge are used to identify existing and potential problems in the analyzed information. Determine the feasibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of each option before making your final decision; consider the long-term consequences of allowing implementation. Acknowledging the contributions of others at all organizational levels; keeping individuals and groups informed about plans, developments, and concerns that affect them; supporting individuals and teams at all organizational levels in the implementation and maintenance of development activities. They participate in the decision-making process, acknowledge and respond to their roles, and assume personal accountability for their actions. Being results-oriented at all times assists in establishing an organization's values-driven culture, focusing on outcomes and goals, and dealing with concerns, challenges, and problems as they emerge: scheduling, delegation, and planning. Effective self-management requires frequent self-reflection, proactive feedback requests, personal behavior changes in light of your feedback, and taking responsibility for your own growth needs. As part of presenting a positive image, it is vital to take the initiative, make decisions, and conduct oneself professionally, with an open mind and consideration for the needs of others. It also requires one to be honest and fair in all transactions with the organization, encourage coworkers, and constantly act ethically. These traits are numerous and difficult to maintain, yet our company's executives are expected to have and require them. Whatever the size of the company or business sector, public or private, it doesn't make a difference. Leadership in firms that uphold high professional and ethical standards and act in ways that rivals find disgusting is looked up to and emulated. Few of our leaders are born with these characteristics. Corporate executives must have and display these personal attributes to be more effective and successful.
