You will learn about common mistakes made by affiliate marketers, even experienced marketers make these mistakes.
# 1 Focus on Marketing
I understand that the main goal of affiliate marketing, at least for the advertisers themselves, is to make sales. That is obvious. But you should never focus on “selling”.
Stay focused on helping your potential clients. This will help you build relationships with the people you would like to sell, make your job easier, and give you a reason to feel happy about yourself at the same time.
This is how you add value to your relevant offer and how you get the audience in that market to trust you and want to buy from you.
# 2 Not checking
Exploration is one of those things that everyone seems to know they should do, but almost no one really does. But what if one simple fix, something as simple as adding ONE NAME to your crowding page or changing ONE PICTURE on your blog's main page, could increase that to 5% conversion;
You realize that REPLACE conversion rate, REPEAT customers, and DOUBLE incoming. From making one change! Isn't that right?
# 3 Adherence to MMO Products
When you enter other markets, you will always have new products to promote. You will always have a new value to add. You will always be able to make money because you are not stuck in a single market.
# 4 Distributing Yourself Too Much
You should focus on one or two key niches at a time, and break them down once you get into those niches. Unless you can hire someone to manage more blogs, more products, more email lists, more social media pages and accounts; You do worse if you split too much at first.
Do not make the mistake of spreading too quickly. You will find that you can never make a real difference in any one niche, because you do not put enough effort into one to do it any way.
# 5 Joining Too Many Integrated Programs
Don't join too many programs, but choose two or three of them, and get 2-3 matching programs each. Make sure you can find at least one really hot product in each affiliate program that looks like it will change well for your niche, and stick to promoting that product for a while before you try something new.
# 6 Not Following Results
If you are starting to see a good sales value, you will soon start to wonder which of your most productive marketing efforts. You will probably want to focus on your efforts in those ways that make you a fortune. But what if you do not know which areas to focus on, since you do not know which methods are working?
Install TRACKING.
Tracking, simply, lets you know where your traffic is coming from and where it is going. Easy tracking is as easy as using a tracking code for your affiliate program.
# 7 Quitting Very Fast
What are some common reasons for quitting?
• Not making money fast
• Not getting traffic fast
• Disapproval on many collaborative networks
• Feeling like too much work
• Considering that embassy marketing is “fraudulent”
One thing most of these things have in common is expecting things to happen overnight.
If you stop too soon, you will never know what it would be like. You never know, you may be the next internet millionaire, but you never know if you will stop before it happens!
# 8 Fear of Competition
Don't be afraid to compete, just be careful. WANTS to compete, trust me. Too much competition is hard to beat, but choose niches with a decent competitive price, because that’s where the money is.
# 9 Ignoring Competition
While it is important not to be afraid of competition, it is also important to be sensible. Expecting to make a fortune overnight in a highly competitive niche like weight loss is a surefire way to disappoint.
The first thing to do is to target niches:
1. Have a healthy competition
2. Don't be so competitive that it's hard to get traffic
3. You have a particular interest or knowledge in it
So how do you choose your first few niches?
Make a list of other topics you are interested in,
• Compatible products that you will promote
• Good competitive price
• Resources available to learn from
• Sources of traffic that you can take advantage of.
