The most common skin disease that affects people between the ages of 12 and 24 is acne.Determining the cause of acne is difficult. However, overproduction of sebaceous glands is identified as the cause of many acne breakouts.
Pilosebaceous units are a combination of hair follicles and sebaceous glands in the skin. In addition to the face of the palms and soles of the feet, pilosebaceous units are found in skin tissue throughout the body. They are responsible for producing an oily substance called sebum, but due to many factors (such as hormonal imbalance, stress and the natural state of the skin), the sebaceous glands can be stimulated to produce more oil than usual. When this happens, the excess sebum clogs the pores of the skin. This process triggers a bacterial infection and stimulates the immune system. Finally, the result of acne inflammation.
Acne can affect any skin type. Oily skin is prone to acne. Dry skin, on the other hand, may not be at risk, but severe pimples may appear in winter. Normal skin is prone to acne, but the severity level may not be that high.
Currently, acne is not completely curable, but it can be managed with many skin care methods. Many seek the help of topical medications that are applied to the surface of the skin. However, using acne skin care products such as "pore strips" can remove whiteheads and blackheads, but will not affect the excess oil produced.
However, if you want to find a cure and prevention, it is better to use the following 8 simple tips:
1. A healthy and nutritious diet should be considered. Your diet should therefore contain all the basic nutrients that the body needs to function properly.
2. Drink plenty of water, juices. Limit your intake of carbonated drinks.
3. No makeup is recommended.
4. Wash your face with mild soap and water. The goal is not to remove impurities (as most people with acne see it), but to remove clogs from skin pores, which can be a combination of dead skin cells, bacteria, and hardened sebum. Although pollution is not necessarily the cause of acne, it can contribute to the progression of the disease through interaction with skin debris and particles and excess oil on the skin.
5. To remove excess oil, use topical cleansing pads that may contain one or a combination of the following: salicylic acid, sulfur, and benzoyl peroxide. Another way to reduce the presence of excess oil on the skin is to wash your face with hot water that you can resist.
6. Minimize the use of harsh cleansers and use acne skin care products that are easy to remove. Do not rub heavily affected areas.
7. If your hands are dirty, don't touch your face.
8. If you have long hair, tie it up to keep it away from your face. This happens especially when the weather is hot and you have been sweating.
Preventive skin care is just as important as acne treatment itself. By prevention, at least you know how to ensure that your acne problem does not grow and spread into a large infected area.
