It's a long story of 20 years ago when in 2001 America started it's longest war with Afghan taliban
The taliban emerged in 1994 taking advantage of the power vacuum that was left folloing the after math of Afghan civil war.
the story started when on 11 September American got hit by Al Qaeda Then president GEORGE W BUSH requested taliban to handed over OSAMA but got nothing.
Then the real story started October 7 2001 was the day when invasion started and US allies had driven the Taliban from power and begun building military bases near major cities.
Then the both sides do there best to show their dominance and the story continued for 19 years.
Some wise people in that time period do there best to stop the story but not succeed.
Like in 2007 KARZI offered peace talks with taliban but nothing happens.
Then in 2009 there was broad agreement in Afghanistan that the war should end but how no one knows.
THEN in 2010 the Afghan peace Jirga took place in June 2010 however Taliban didn't show up.
Taliban could founder ABDUL GHANI BARADAR mind set changed in 2010 and was in fact our of peace talks but was captured and the peace train stop there.
Now 2011 started and KARZI confirmed in June that US and taliban was talking but collapsed in August 2011.
Then year passes and Pakistan play it's role in peace process and tried best to solve the issue.
On March 27 2018 a conference in TASHKENT between 20 countries back the Afghan government peace offer to taliban.
Then serious talk started and big elephant agree to leave the forest means America decided to leave Afghanistan.
On February 29 2020 the US signed a conditional peace agrement with the Taliban which call for the with draw of foreign troops in 14 months if taliban uphold the terms of Agreement.
From all this I didn't knew what is American gain but one thing is sure that he lost many things.
I have to say first ray of peace is in the Afghan airs and is day of celebrations.
but the question is still there WHAT DI'D AMERICAN GET FROM ALL THIS ?
