What about to Bible chapter Exodus 29 and 30

Exodus 29 provides instructions for the consecration of Aaron and his sons as priests, as well as guidelines for the daily offerings and rituals to be performed in the Tabernacle. Here's a summary:

  1. The Consecration Ceremony: God instructs Moses to gather Aaron and his sons, along with the necessary offerings, to the entrance of the Tabernacle. The ceremony involves washing Aaron and his sons with water, dressing them in the priestly garments, anointing them with oil, and offering sacrifices on their behalf.

  2. The Bull for the Sin Offering: Moses is commanded to bring a bull for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on its head to symbolize the transfer of their sins. The bull is then slaughtered, and its blood is sprinkled on the altar and poured out at the base of the altar.

  3. The Ram for the Burnt Offering: Another ram is brought for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons consecrate themselves by laying their hands on its head. The ram is slaughtered, and its blood is sprinkled on the altar.

  4. The Ram of Ordination: Moses takes the second ram and has Aaron and his sons lay their hands on its head. Moses then slaughters the ram and takes some of its blood and puts it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot. He does the same with Aaron's sons. The rest of the blood is sprinkled on the altar.

  5. The Wave Offering: Moses takes some of the ordination ram's fat, the fat tail, the fat covering the entrails, the long lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, along with one loaf of bread, one cake of bread mixed with oil, and one wafer from the basket of unleavened bread. He places them all on the hands of Aaron and his sons and waves them as a wave offering before the Lord.

  6. The Burnt Offering: Moses takes the breast of the ordination ram and offers it as a wave offering before the Lord, as instructed.

  7. The Portion for Aaron and His Sons: Moses takes some of the ordination ram's fat, the fat tail, the fat covering the entrails, the long lobe of the liver, the two kidneys with their fat, and the right thigh. These are placed on the hands of Aaron and his sons and waved as a wave offering before the Lord. Then Moses takes these portions from their hands and burns them on the altar, along with the burnt offering.

  8. The Duration of the Ceremony: The consecration ceremony lasts for seven days, during which Aaron and his sons are to remain at the entrance of the Tabernacle day and night, observing the Lord's commands.

Exodus 29 outlines the procedures for consecrating Aaron and his sons as priests and emphasizes the importance of purification and dedication in their service to God. It also establishes the daily rituals and offerings to be performed in the Tabernacle as part of the ongoing worship of the Lord.

Exodus 30 provides instructions for the construction of the altar of incense, the bronze basin for washing, the anointing oil, and the incense for the Tabernacle. Here's a summary:

  1. The Altar of Incense: God instructs Moses to build an altar of acacia wood for burning incense, to be placed in the Holy Place in front of the veil that covers the Ark of the Testimony. The altar is to be square, 1 cubit long, 1 cubit wide, and 2 cubits high, with horns at each corner. It is to be overlaid with pure gold, and there is to be a gold molding around it. Aaron is to burn sweet incense on the altar every morning and evening as a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

  2. The Atonement Money: God commands Moses to take a census of the Israelites and to collect a half-shekel from each person as an offering to the Lord. This is to be a ransom for their lives, to atone for them.

  3. The Basin for Washing: God instructs Moses to make a bronze basin for washing, along with its stand, to be placed between the Tent of Meeting and the altar. Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from the basin whenever they enter the Tent of Meeting or approach the altar.

  4. The Anointing Oil: God provides Moses with the recipe for making the holy anointing oil, to be used to anoint the Tabernacle, the Ark of the Testimony, the table and all its utensils, the lampstand and its utensils, the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin and its stand. The oil is to be made from a mixture of myrrh, cinnamon, calamus, cassia, and olive oil.

  5. The Incense: God also provides Moses with the recipe for making the sacred incense, to be used exclusively for the Tabernacle. The incense is to be made from a mixture of fragrant spices, including stacte, onycha, galbanum, and pure frankincense.

Exodus 30 emphasizes the importance of purity and holiness in the worship of the Lord. The instructions for the altar of incense, the basin for washing, the anointing oil, and the incense serve as reminders of the sanctity of the Tabernacle and the need for reverence in approaching God.
