What a Final Match........!!!!!! Women's WC Final: Alyssa Healy breaks Adam Gilchrist's world record with a 170-runs knock;

 Women's World Cup finals Alyssa Healy produced a magnificent outing against England, scoring 170 off just 138 balls.     

s the Australia women’s team eyes its 7th world title,She not only went past New Zealand's great Debbie Hockley’s 25-year-old record, but she also became the first women cricketer to score 500 or more runs in a single edition of the tournament.         

Hockley had 456 scores in the 1997 Women's World Cup in India and was leading the charts. But on Saturday, she slipped down to the third position as Healy and her opening partner Rachael Haynes took the top 2 spots scoring 509 and 497 scores, respectively.

•     Alyssa Healy knocks a huge 170 runs138 balls in the final of the Women's World Cup on Sunday, with Australia scoring a massive 356/5 in 50 overs against England in Christchurch. Healy, along with Rachel Haynes 68, piled by160 for the opening partnership wicket following Haynes' dismissal.

Her Husband Mitchell Starc, who is widely regarded as one of the fastest bowlers in international cricket, was also present during the game and had an emotional reaction as Healy reached her century in as many deliveries.

As she crosses the 149-run mark in the innings, Alyssa Healy registered her name in the record book for an incredible feat in a Women's World Cup final. The Australian wicket-keeper batter went past one of the country's fine men's wicket-keepers, Adam Gilchrist, to post the highest-ever individual runs in a World Cup final – men or women.

Adam Gilchrist 149 came against Sri Lanka in the final of the 2007 World Cup as the side defeated Jayawardene mean by 53 runs (D/L Method) to win a third successive Men's World Cup title.

Alyssa Healy also became the highest run-scorer in a Women's World Cup, as she went past her own teammate Rachael Haynes for the feat. Incredibly, Haynes had also broken the previous record during the same innings

•         AUS team bat after losing the toss at Christchurch. Healy went on from a run-a-ball century to record the second-highest ODI score by an Australian woman and to lead AUS to a remarkable total of 356-5.
  

Healy strolled off to standing at 316 for two, having again burnished her record as the ultimate big-game performer, 2 years after scoring a 39-ball 75 in the 2020 T20 World Cup final against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

            Belinda Clark, who made an unbeaten 229 runs against Denmark in 1997, has scored more runs for AUS than Healy in a one-day international inning. The fact that Healy did it in a World Cup final made her innings even more of a landmark in Australian and women’s cricket.

                    Healy had also made 129 runs and put on 216 runs with Haynes in AUS'S semifinal win over the West Indies 5 days ago.
