LAHORE: Lahore Calendars won their first Pakistan Super League (PSL) title after beating Multan Sultan by 42 runs in this year's final at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.
Despite Lahore having given Multan a solid goal of 181 runs, they were expected to be at a very high level with the ball and the pitch.
Moreover, they have recently done so. However, shaheen passed Mohammad Hafeez early, and he did not give up as he dismissed Mohammad Rizwan who is well-prepared for 14 runs with 36 runs in four overs.

Asif Afridi was sent off for four runs later, while dangerous Rylee Rossow was sent off for 15 runs by Zaman Khan, who was running at speed as Multan's strikers were dropped like a pile of cards.

Lahore, after picking to bat first, is back to a bad start as they went down to 25-3 in 4.2 overs. Fakhar Zaman was bowled out for just three runs by Asif Afridi and Shahnawaz Dahani was stunned, while Abdullah Shafique was sent off by Asif.
From then on, Mohammad Hafeez demonstrated his knowledge and class as he guided the boat to Lahore by playing logically. Through Kamran Ghulam, he formed an important 54-member organization to direct the inning.
Hafeez embraced the offensive line while chasing adversary throwers, and was finally out for 69 runs by Dahan. He hit those runs on 46 balls and 1 for six and four for nine.
Later, in his defense, Harry Brook and David Wise registered a stand of 43 runs in 2.4 overs as they spread out against Multan's skippers.
Wise did not sit out, 28 runs off only eight balls and six, while Brook scored 41 runs off 22 balls.
In terms of throwing at Multan, Asif has been a unique bowler with a score of 3-19 in four overs, while leggie Imran Tahir has given only 22 runs in a spell of fewer than four wickets. Dani went to the cleaners in the last overs as he finished with 1-34 points in three overs. Rum men Raees netted 35 runs in just two overs.
