THE BUGATTI PG BIKE. THE WORLD’S MOST EXCLUSIVE CYCLE.

To become a worthy successor of the great Bugatti Veyron, it takes a great deal of commitment and sacrifice, even by the people who made it in the first place. Luckily, the French chaps have pulled off a great feat and have given the world the Bugatti Chiron. A car, an uncompromised piece of machinery that has no comparison to anything on the road. And also that it proves that the wealthy live a different way of life than the rest of us.

The French brand is at it once again in reminding us that we’re still peasants. But this time it has nothing to do with horsepower or four wheels. Instead, it is a two-wheeled cycle that Bugatti is making in collaboration with PG, the premier cycle guys from Netherlands. It does, however, share a few things from the car – It is a piece of art, has a lot of carbon fibre and it costs money. Sh*t loads of it.

Coming from the people who built a luxury hypercar that comes with the history of being the fastest road car in the world, this cycle is also going to hold records – to be the most expensive and the lightest cycle in the world. With 95% of the bike made with reinforced carbon, it weighs in at just 5 kilos. YES!! Less than a watermelon!

The PG Bugatti bike (we still don’t know if that is what they christened it be called, or it’s just named off the people who made it) is also going to be a very exclusive grandeur limited to only the elite clientele, just like the Bugatti Chiron. And with each of the limited 667 units costing a whopping $40,000 (excluding import duties), you better wish your father’s ancestors left you with a lot of spare $$$.

The bike comes with a vertical shock absorption bar which is said to improve comfort substantially. The carbon fibre frame on this bike is made by people who also work on Formula One components. The wheels that go on this are also handcrafted by the same blokes that supply to the Tour de France. Every part you see on the bike is manufactured in Germany and crafted using optimal techniques which ultimately make this bike as light as it is.
