- I just realized that my weight is not the problem. But in recent years, it's become more and more difficult to maintain. It's gotten so heavy that I don't even feel like being able to sit down for a few minutes at all. And because of this feeling, I've started having extreme anxiety attacks when I go out or do anything. So much so that I have been going back from work and staying home so as not to get too anxious when I am alone. This has really affected my personal life at times.
- I also had an accident when losing weight. For the past year and a half, I have been trying to lose weight by eating very low-calorie foods. At first, it worked, but then my stomach began getting sick because my body was trying to digest all the fat that I was putting into it. So, eventually, I ended up on a diet in order to maintain my health.
- But now that my body isn't supporting me anymore, I'm starting to think about what I need to do to change things again. After talking to some friends, I found one thing that might be helpful to help me get healthier and lose those extra pounds again. That is, to start slowly eating less food than you normally would, but in moderation. To stop eating unhealthy fast foods and sugars and instead eat whole, whole foods. Then gradually increase your protein intake and increase your vegetables and fruits.
- This method will require a lot of patience. You will want to make sure that you are doing this right in a way that doesn't hurt your body, but you can't force yourself into something that you aren't good for. You may even find yourself hating certain foods that you used to love. And when this happens, it will definitely lead to anxiety, which will be hard to overcome. Because these thoughts will come with you throughout your day, they will probably be harder to ignore if you continue eating the same old foods you are used to.
- So, I hope that you will do me a favor and give this a try. Try eating smaller amounts of every meal, but be careful about how much you are eating during meals. If you eat very little food while eating, then you are likely to make yourself sick. The next time you are out at home, you might want to consider cutting back on your snacks. Maybe add a fruit or two to your plate when you are hungry. Or maybe try mixing the foods that you usually eat together. You can even experiment with different colors of food. Try adding fresh vegetables to your lunch or dinners, and vice versa. Sometimes, there is nothing better than eating a salad with a side of raw veggies.
- You will need to take into account that your body is adjusting to all of this new food. Your body is still trying to adjust to the fact that you are eating this food for the first time. Some people are allergic to eggs or dairy, or if you have diabetes, then your blood sugar levels are high. But I think that most people should be okay with that. They may struggle a bit with nausea and fatigue. But, overall, they should be fine.
- It's important to remember that the only reason you are overweight is because of bad eating habits. Bad eating habits lead to obesity. So, instead of focusing on making drastic changes to your diet, focus on changing the way you eat. Focus on eating less food than you would normally eat, in moderation. Be mindful of your nutrition, and your body will thank you.
