Asia Cup 2022 New Venue
Asia Cup 2022 shifted from Sri Lanka to the UAE. Now UAE (United Arab Emirates) will be the new host of the Asia Cup 2022. Asia Cup 2022 schedule from 27 August to 11 September. Now it's will be played in UAE grounds.
ICC shifted Asia Cup 2022 from Sri Lanka to the UAE. The reason is that in the present time, political and economic situation of Sri Lanka in crisis. So ACC finally decided that Sri Lanka is not a good venue for this tournament. After a lot of tensions now the venue has been shifted from Sri Lanka to the UAE.
It is the 15th edition of the tournament. That is going to be held between six teams. There is tough competition. Before the final round, there will be a qualify round. In qualifying round there will be four teams. The winner of the round will join the final round. Four teams in the qualifying round are the host team UAE, Hong-Kong, Singapore and Kuwait. The winner of this round will join the final with the other five teams.
In the final round, there will be six teams for championship. They will give tough time to each other to win the trophy. Names of teams in Asia Cup 2022 are Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and last one will be the winner of qualifying round.
Last time Asia Cup was played in 2018. India was the winner of tournament in 2018 Asia Cup. The final was between India and the Bangladesh. India lift Asia Cup 2018 trophy by defeating Bangladesh with 3 wickets. So India will be defending champion in this tournament to make defend of the trophy And Pakistan ready to take trophy from India. Asia Cup 2022 format will be t20. Now in the present time Pakistan has a very good t20 team combination. He the leader of this team. Everyone knows who take interest in the cricket.
