Just like the famous Nile River supports life of Africa, India also has a river that is compared to it.

Rivers have always been the lifeline of civilizations.T hey provide water for farming,drinking, transportation in our daily life.Be cause of their huge role of supporting people and nature, some rivers earn a unique nick names.

In India, many rivers are deeply connected with cultures, history and economy and river of them flows through through several states, supports millions of people and grows a large number of crops.

One particular river in India is so important and powerful that it is often compared to the mighty Nile river,Be cause of its long journey, it has earned the special title known as the ''Nile of River''.

The gangs is considered the most scared river in India and plays a vital roles in the lives of million of people and river Nile supports in Africa ,the river helps the agriculture,live hood,and religions across northern India.

The river begins in the Himalayas mountains at the Gangotri Glaciers in the state of Uttarakhand.

The Bhagirathi joins the Alaknanda River at Devprayag,and from the point of river is officially called the Ganga.The river forms the sundarbans,which is the largest river delta on earth.

The Nile river helped the ancient Egyptian civilizations grow.T he Ganga supported many countries and the development of the Vedic Civilization.

Both rivers carry nutrient rich soil from the mountains.T he soil spread many plains and makes the land extremely fertile for farming.T he Ganga is one of the most productive agricultural regions in the world.

The Nile receives water from African lakes and rainfall, while the river is fed by Himalayans glaciers and monsoon rains.Be cause of this steady water sup ply,both river flows throughout the year.

The Nile river is considered as a gift of God. In India Ganga is worshipped as Goddess, Ganga, and millions of people believe its water has spiritual and purified power.

Scientists have found that the river can retain higher level of dissolved oxygen compared with most rivers,which supports aquatic life.
