UBIQUITIN ASSAY KIT

Abnormal functions of the ubiquitin - proteasome system (UPS)affects a number of cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, cell growth, proliferation, apoptosis, DNA repair, and other cellular signalling processes. This is thought to be a key factor in the development of malignant tumours, cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases and other diseases. As a result, the UPS has become one of the targets for the treatment of related diseases. Inhibiting the ubiquitin - proteasome system and regulating the degradation of related substrate proteins for disease treatment is an important drug - development strategy. The current research on small molecule inhibitors targeting the ubiquitin-proteasome system includes four main areas: ubiquitin-activating enzyme E1 inhibitors, ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 inhibitors, ubiquitin ligase E3 inhibitors, and proteasome inhibitors.
