Top10 Companies in the World

WMT, SNP, and AMZN are at the top of the list of the ten largest corporations in the world, according to EIFF

The largest corporations in the world by revenue span a range of sectors, from oil and retailing to eCommerce and digital devices, from relatively new, faster-growing industries to established, slower-growing ones. No matter what, every business is a major player in its sector. While the COVID-19 pandemic has caused each of these businesses to experience a change in how its customers do business, several of these businesses are still thriving thanks to their distinct benefits as millions of customers seek sanctuary. According to 12-month trailing (TTM) revenue, these are the top 10 firms in the world, and they cover a remarkably wide range of sectors. Companies that trade publicly in the United States or Canada, directly or via ADRs, are the only ones eligible for inclusion on this list. There may be lengthier lag times for some overseas corporations because they report on a semi-annual basis. We add the qualification that State Grid, the state-owned electric utility in China, and Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Arabian state oil corporation, would both be included on this list if not for the two additional companies that we have left off.

They weren't included since their equities aren't traded openly in the United States or Canada. All information in this article is from YCharts and is current as of September 10, 2020.
