Today, when artists from all over Pakistan are starving to death due to inflation and the closure of theaters, the stage actors of Lahore came out in such a situation and peacefully requested the government to allow us to live.

But if there is no work then we had to give that house to them and I took my money back from them and now I am living in a normal house. While there are many people besides me who have committed suicide, there is starvation in their homes and no living conditions and we have not seen any government like this in the past.

It is also important to mention here that this video is from the time of Coronavirus when the severe lockdown was enforced across the country and instructions were issued to various departments to wear masks and observe social distance in institutions. Work could be done but the theater was not allowed to open and the Lahore artists protested peacefully.
Naseem Vicky was accompanied by renowned actor Tahir Anjum and other big and small artists in the protest.
