Washington is using benches adorned with its logo for the game at the Cowboys after Dallas did the same thing when visiting its NFC East rival two weeks ago.
The difference is, the rematch is in climate-controlled AT&T Stadium. The retractable roof is closed along with the giant sliding glass doors beyond each end zone. Even if the roof were open, temperatures are in the 70s.
The Cowboys rented benches with their logos when the temperature at kickoff was 48 degrees for their 27-20 victory at Washington. Dallas had gotten word from Seattle that the heaters for the visiting benches in Washington didn't work all the time.
After seeing the Dallas logo on the visiting benches, Washington coach Ron Rivera said it was simple gamesmanship. Asked if that meant his club wouldn't do the same, Rivera said he didn't say that.
Trevon Diggs has extended his NFL lead with his 11th interception while tying a 40-year-old club record for the Dallas Cowboys.
Diggs made the play on Washington's first offensive snap when Taylor Heinicke threw deep to Terry McLaurin. Diggs was running stride for stride with Washington's top receiver and turned to make the catch.

Kanas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has left the game against Pittsburgh with a collarbone injury.
Edwards-Helaire carried twice on the opening drive of the second half, and it wasn’t clear when the injury occurred. He never went into the injury tent and was not on the sideline when the Chiefs got the ball back after a Pittsburgh fumble.
The former first-round pick had nine carries for 27 yards with a touchdown run against the Steelers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are still struggling.
