As Victoria Falls is situated on the Zambezi River, there are most definitely crocodiles in Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River has a very high population of crocodiles and if you visit Victoria Falls and go on a boat cruise you will without a doubt see one of the creatures. Crocodiles, Hippos, and Elephants regularly go over the Victoria Falls at certain water levels. We often find the carcasses in the Baton Gorge and there are some well known “bone gardens” in some locations
US Citizens do require a visa (Category B) however you will be granted the visa at the port of entry (border post on your day of arrival). There is no need to arrange the visa prior to arrival as you will be able to purchase one at the border post between Zambia & Zimbabwe during the Immigration Procedure
The standard Victoria Falls entrance fee is $30 for all tourists on both the Zambia and Zimbabwean side. SADC passport holders pay a reduced rate of $20
