Those people who immensely contribute with their noble deeds for the progress and betterment of entire humankind are called international personalities. Many international personalities are contributing to human beings from different angles. We should salute for the praiseworthy deeds, respect and remember them forever and follow the path sincerely. Kailash Satyarthi

Kailash Satyarthi (Sharma) was born on 11th January 1954 in the Vidisha district of Central India state Madhya Pradesh. He studied at a government Higher Secondary School in town.

He completed Electrical Engineering from Samrat Ashok Technological Institute. Odisha. Right after he completed electrical engineering, he started teaching. He left teaching in 1980 AD.

Mr. Satyarthi is an Indian children's rights and education advocate and an activist against child labor. He founded the Bachpan Bachao Andolon (Save the Childhood Movement) in 1980 and strongly worked to protect the rights of more than 83000 children from 144 countries. Satyarthi's work and activism compel the International labor organization (ILO) to adopt Convention No. 182 on the worst forms of child labor.

After he gave resignation from the post of teacher, he became the Secretary-General for the Bonded Labour Liberation Front. He has also been involved in Global March Against child labor and its international advocacy body, the International Center on Child Labour and Education (ICCLE).

He also served as the President of the Global Campaign for Education from its establishment in 1999 to 2011.

Awards and Recognitions Kailash Satyarthi, along with Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 AD for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and all children's rights to education. He is the fifth Nobel Prize winner for India. Similarly, he is the second Indian to get Nobel Peace Prize after Mother Teresa (1979).

(I) Harvard's University Award "Humanitarian of the year in 2015."

(ii) Honorary Doctorate by Amity University, Gurgaon in 2015.

(iii) Nobel Peace Prize in 2014

(iv) Alfonso Comin International Award (Spain) in 2008.

(v) Gold medal of the Italian Senate (2007)

Dr. Martin Luther King Martin Luther King Jr. was born on 15th January 1929 AD in Atlanta, Georgia. At birth, his legal name was Michael King, but his name was changed during his family trip to Germany in 1934 to attend the 5th Baptist World Alliance Congress in Berlin.

He chose to be called Martin Luther King in boner of the German reformer Martin Luther.

When Martin Luther King was a child, he befriended a white boy. Both the boys started their schooling at 6. King had to attend a school for African Americans, and another boy went to the school for Whites. During that time, he lost his friend because the child's father didn't want the boys to play together.

Awards (I) Presidential Medal of Freedoms and the Compassionate Gold Medal were posthumously awarded.

(ii) Martin Luther King Jr. Day was established and celebrated as a US federal.

(iii) Martin Luther King Jr.'s memorial on the National Mall Washington was dedicated to him in 2011.
