Apple produces an enormous variety of digital devices, including operating systems, streaming boxes, wearables, PCs, smartphones, and more. As a result, it receives a huge number of favorable review and survey scores. The company received twelve net product satisfaction (NPS) scores from our surveys and 29 PCMag reviews in only one calendar year. Nevertheless, despite having so many metrics influencing its Best Brands Index ranking, the IT giant nevertheless comes very, very near to the top. With only two other brands making this list, Apple is unquestionably the best brand among the major five tech giants, which also include Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Alphabet/Google, and Amazon.

As usual, Sony is ranked among our Best Brands, and it is again this year. In fact, with its unique NPS of 73.0 from our TV survey, it might have qualified even under our previous ranking criteria. However, the company was also reviewed 24 times in areas including PlayStation gaming, TVs, cameras, and audio equipment. Despite releasing a few goods that weren't as well-received, Sony has an incredibly strong average review score because seven of those products have 4.5 stars. All things considered, Sony's results add up to an excellent bronze medal finish.
