World's Top Ten Online Working Websites
There are plenty of websites that allow you to work online without leaving the comfort of your own home, but what about those that do not? The top ten global companies have all launched dedicated sites where they can operate from offices around the world, and the best places to find them all may be right in front of your own desk or screen.
Top 10 Global Companies with Their Best Sites on 2021
1) Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/
It is only a few kilometres from their headquarters in Redmond, Washington. This tech company has gone above and beyond to ensure its employees who are based on the continent know how to start work from anywhere – even if they are abroad. It offers three different office locations in London, Dublin and Milan and works online as well.
2) HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC): www.hsbc.com
This international bank's website takes a bit more effort to get around, so it is great for finding information about branch details in England and Ireland and other parts of Europe. But the main advantage of using this website is that it covers over 99% of all UK branches. In fact, the UK has been ranked the second most popular country to launch an online banking service since 2012.
3) TUI Group Limited: http://www.tui.com
The French luxury goods maker was founded by Renzo Piano. So, one might think TUI would have spent some time thinking of ways to make its brand even better. Instead, it has taken things straight away, launching these online pages to show our customers what we have to offer. You could say "We're here to help", which perhaps sums up the whole of its ethos. And perhaps like many others, it had no choice but go for it.
4) BHP Billon & Burlinga Ltd (BHP): https://www.bhp.com
This mining giant is always ready to give its services to its stakeholders, especially when it comes to sustainability and environmental protection. That is why BHP has launched several pages of various types of products they produce to offer to their audience. One example is BHP's very first recycling site. Maybe one day I will have a chance to visit there to see its facilities themselves, but in the meantime we can all just enjoy knowing that they exist. The page also lists links to follow through on their social media pages.
5) Lloyds Banking Group Plc (LBB): https://lbb.co.uk/
If you need banking services at home, then you can do so from any part of Britain and access your account from wherever you are, whether that’s London or Edinburgh. It does not sound much to us, but for our clients who do want to stay connected, there must be a way. We offer LBB clients a free mobile app which allows them to keep in touch with friends and family, pay bills, receive money transfers and store their money - anything they need. Thanks to that simple click-to-call feature, our clients can live chat 24x7.
6) Amazon Web Services (AWS): https://www.amazon.com/
A lot of people may have used the cloud before to manage software files and hosting. Now Amazon has started to expand on that concept with making it easier to set up new servers and data centres. If you already have everything hosted, Amazon's S3 buckets come included with most systems. They have moved on the server side already and will soon become available globally as well. Just add a computer, an internet connection and an Internet Package with Server Prime Plus to get started.
7) Verizon Communications Inc.: https://www.verizon.com
Now, if you need faster Wi-Fi and all the latest accessories, let your network provider be the person who handles it for you. Or maybe you want access to YouTube, Netflix or Spotify (which none of us have ever heard of)? Then you choose another provider, so we're doing that for you too. For starters check out Verizon's Unlimited Data Plans.
8) Alphabet Corporation: https://www.google.co.ke
This search engine giant went big early, signing up millions of users to Google Search. It now has a market share of almost 90% of searches on Google every year. With their subsidiary Alphabet Inc., Google makes sure you can get the results you are looking for within seconds, not days or weeks. On their blog, they talk about how “Google wants every user to feel comfortable searching for something—anytime, anyplace, on any device.” A nice sentiment indeed.
9) IBM, Microsoft and Caterpillar Incorporated: https://www.ibm.com/
This American multinational corporation is still going strong. Some years ago, their partnership with Microsoft gave them a leg-up when it came to web applications and data centre capacity. Today, they even have their own virtual reality headset, although I don't fancy using it yet. Other than that, other interesting facts include having more than 3,000 offices around the globe with 40,000 employees.
10) Coca Cola Company: https://www.coca-colacompany.com
You may have used Coca-Cola a few times before, maybe even to buy a bottle of water at a supermarket. Well, today we are glad you asked because today its digital presence is worth mentioning. First, they've got their own platform which allows you to create and upload stories of your life, and then publish them on Instagram and Facebook. Also, they now live on Twitter and TikTok, and have more than 180 million followers across both platforms. To top it all off, they're hiring staff again to work on exciting projects to bring their offerings to more people in the future.
