Like a cyclone, the music was obnoxious and dissonant, with high and low notes blending into an unintelligible chaos. It sounded like sirens and a thousand loud foghorns shouting at each other. This was a little louder and aggressive than I am. I enjoyed it. Playing it was a lot of fun and totally unexpected.
Like a piano, other instruments can produce several notes. On the other hand, a saxophone plays single notes through a single vibrating reed instead of chords. However, I found that the saxophone allows you to play numerous notes at once. I was working on a concert D-flat scale. I misplayed the bottom B-flat fingering, and my instrument made an odd noise with two notes. You just played a polyphonic note, my band teacher cried, with much excitement. When new concepts are discovered accidentally, I like that.
This polyphonic sound appeals to me since it is multifaceted like me. You anticipate one thing to receive, but another. I excel in English classes at school, but I'm also good at making others laugh with my wince-inducing puns. Though my math and physics teachers anticipate that I will major in engineering, I am more enthusiastic about making movies. It's fun to talk about the news with my friends, but I also like to share with them. While talking about the news with my pals is enjoyable, I also enjoy teaching them how to make a perfect scotch egg. The Asian pupils at our school don't think I'm half Japanese, despite the fact that my last name offers them a hint.
The fact that I am also part Welsh surprises the non-Asians. I don't mind standing out or having unconventional ideas. This gives me the opportunity to make new students to our school feel welcomed and accepted in my role as a Student Ambassador. I teach the freshmen that it's ok to be authentic.
Combining different items has benefits. When my brother and I won an international Kali Science Foundation competition by describing the arithmetic, I came to this realization. Behind "Up," a Pixar film. We investigated the physics and believability of lifting a house with helium balloons using stop-motion animation. I enjoy presenting a fresh perspective and broadening people's perspectives. I frequently combine art and instruction in my videos. I want to keep making movies that provoke thought as well as entertainment.
Many people are defined by a single passion or a particular skill that they were born with. I am an instrument like my saxophone, except I can play multiple notes at once. I'm a musician and a scholar. Chatty but reserved. A filmmaker and an athlete. Cautious but unplanned. A supporter of Kill The Noise and Johnny Cash. Working hard but being lighthearted. A combat. A baker and a martial artist. Unlike any other, but a twin in every way.
Will college students recognize polyphonic notes? Yes. For instance, a more convincing story will be created by balancing a creative narrative with factual facts. To produce more profound art, I wish to bring together all types of pupils (such as music, cinema, and English majors). A strong community is created through having respect for the viewpoints, abilities, and ideas of other pupils.
Combining my interests will help me find my position in the world, and I'm looking forward to that. Some people might perceive who I am as nothing but noise because I'm not always harmonious. But even dissonant music like what I play can be lovely. It's a polyphonic note that I invented.
