کچھ عرصے بعد لوگوں نے انہیں مشورہ دیا کہ تمہاری تعلیم صرف آٹھویں کلاس تک ہوئی ہے تم کوشش کر کے میٹرک کر ڈالو۔ اس کے بعد تم آسانی سے مقامی ڈاک خانے میں پوسٹ ماسٹر ہو جاو¿ گے۔ اسی کے ساتھ کچھ گھر کی کھیتی ہے دونو ں ملا کر آسانی سے تمہاری ضرورتیں پوری ہوتی رہیں گی
مگر ان کے جھوٹے فخر کی نفسیات اس میں رکاوٹ بن گئی کہ وہ کسی کا مشورہ مانیں۔
مزید یہ ہوا کہ جھوٹی بڑائی کے احساس کی بنا پر اکثر وہ ڈاک خانے کے کارکنوں سے بھی لڑ پڑتے تھے یہاں تک کہ ایک روز انھوں نے پوسٹ ماسٹر سے جھگڑا کر لیا اور کام چھوڑ کر چلے آئے۔ ڈاک خانے کی ملازمت چھوڑنے کے بعد وہ طویل عرصے بے کار پڑے رہے۔ نہ کوئی دوسرا کام کیا اور نہ تعلیم حاصل کی۔ ان کا مشغلہ صرف یہ رہ گیا کہ سب سے اپنی فرضی بڑائی کے تذکرے کریں اور اس کے ذریعے جھوٹی تسکین حاصل کرتے رہیں۔
ملازمت چھوڑنے کے بعد کھیتی سے کام چلتا رہا جس کو وہ بٹائی پر دیے ہوئے تھے یہاں تک کہ ان کے چھے بچے ہو گے ۔ اب مسائل نے پریشان کرنا شروع کیا۔ تاہم ان کی جھوٹی بڑائی کا احساس دوبارہ اس میں رکاوٹ بنا رہا کہ وہ اپنی غلطی تسلیم کریں۔وہ اپنے رشتے داروں کو اپنی بربادی کا ذمے دار ٹھہرا کر ان سے لڑنے لگے ۔مگر ا س غیر حقیقت پسندانہ رویے نے صرف ان کی بربادی میں اضافہ کیا یہاں تک کہ ان کا ذہنی توازن خراب ہو گیا۔
موجودہ دنیا حقیقتوں کی دنیا ہے جنہیں تسلیم کر لینے ہی میں عافیت ہے۔ یہاں حقیقت سے مطابقت کر کے آپ سب کچھ حاصل کر سکتے ہیں اور آپ حقیقت سے مطابق نہ کریں تو آپ کو کچھ بھی نہیں ملے گا۔ خدا کی اس دنیا میں جھوٹی بڑائی سے زیادہ بے معنی کوئی چیز نہیں۔ یہاں جھوٹی بڑائی سے زیادہ تباہ کن کوئی ذہنیت نہیں
