I have given the list of programming languages you should go with if you are a beginner. You should learn one language at a time and in the given order below. I have created the above list according to my search and experience of learning. I have given the name of programming languages and their short intro and uses.
1) C
Introduction:- C is a procedural programming language. Dennis Ritchie initially developed it in the year 1972. It was mainly developed as a system programming language to write an operating system. The main features of the C language include low-level memory access, a simple set of keywords, and a clean style; these features make C language suitable for system programmings like an operating system or compiler development.
Uses:- Creating an operating system, Compiler designing, Gaming and animation (low animations ex. snake game), etc.
Why learn C language:- C programming is the basic foundation of the other programming languages. If you learn C programming now, then later, it will play an essential role while learning other programming languages. It gives the same ideas, such as control statements, operators, data types, and many more. ‘C’ programming can be utilized broadly in different applications. It is simplistic language and gives quicker execution. If you are going to start learning a programming language, you should learn this language first. It will only give you confidence also to learn the new languages.
2) C++
Introduction:- C++ is a cross-platform language that can be used to create high-performance applications. Bjarne Stroustrup developed it as an extension to the C language. C++ gives programmers a high level of control over system resources and memory. It is the language in which object-oriented programming was introduced. The language was updated 3 major times in 2011, 2014, and 2017 to C++11, C++14, and C++17.
Uses:- Operating system development, App development, Games and animation, Web browser development, Database access, etc...
Why learn C++:- We can say it was developed as an extended version of the C language. It was developed by taking the C language as its base. The OOPs(Object-oriented programming) were introduced for the first time in C++. C++ is referred to as the safest language because of its security and features. It is easy to learn, as it is a pure concept-based language. Its syntax is straightforward, making it easy to write or develop, and errors can be easily detected. After C language, it is the best language. You should go with me. In this language, you will learn about the concept of object-oriented programming, and because of its simple syntax, you will learn easily about object-oriented programming.
