নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদন : সরস্বতী পুজোর ঠিক আগেই রাজ্যে খুলে যাচ্ছে শিক্ষাঙ্গনের দরজা (School Reopen)। ফের ক্লাসে ফিরছে পড়ুয়ারা। আজ থেকে আবার স্কুল-কলেজ যাওয়ার পালা। ইতিমধ্যেই প্রস্তুতি শেষ স্কুলগুলিতে। স্যানিটাইজেশন সারা। আপাতত অষ্টম থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির পড়ুয়াদের জন্যই খুলছে স্কুল।
করোনার (Covid-19) ধাক্কায় কার্যত বেসামাল শিক্ষা ক্ষেত্র। দিন গড়িয়েছে মাসে, মাস বছরে। স্কুলের দরজা খোলেনি। মাঝে খোলার চেষ্টা হলেও শেষরক্ষা হয়নি। ২০২০-র ১৬ মার্চ বন্ধ হয় রাজ্যের স্কুল, কলেজ, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলি। এরপর ২০২১-এর ১২ ফেব্রুয়ারি নবম থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির ক্লাস শুরু হয়েছিল। কিন্তু ২০২১-র ২০ এপ্রিল থেকে ফের বন্ধ হয়ে যায় স্কুল। কোভিডের দ্বিতীয় ঢেউয়ের (Covid Second Wave) কারণে আগেই গ্রীষ্মের ছুটি ঘোষণা করেন তত্কালীন শিক্ষামন্ত্রী পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়। এরপর ২০২১-র ১৬ নভেম্বর ফের নবম থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির জন্য খোলে স্কুল (School Reopen)। কিন্তু আবার ২০২২-র ৩ জানুয়ারি থেকে ফের বন্ধ হয়ে যায় স্কুল।
তবে সংক্রমণের হার কিছুটা নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসার পরই, পথে নেমে পড়েন পডুয়া-অভিভাবক থেকে শিক্ষক সকলেই। দাবি একটাই, স্কুল খোলা (School Reopen) হোক। গতমাসেই রাজ্যজুড়ে চলেছিল বিক্ষোভ-আন্দোলন। মামলা পর্যন্ত হয় হাইকোর্টে। ঝড় ওঠে সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াতেও। রাজনৈতিক দলগুলিও একই দাবিতে সুর চড়ায়। দাবি আরও জোরালো হয়, পড়ুয়াদের মধ্যে অনেকের টিকাকরণ (Covid Vaccination) সম্পন্ন হয়ে যাওয়ায়। শেষপর্যন্ত মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ঘোষণা, ৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে খুলবে অষ্টম শ্রেণি থেকে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত স্কুল এবং কলেজ-বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।
সেইজন্য রাজ্যের উত্তর থেকে দক্ষিণ, সর্বত্রই বুধবার স্কুলগুলিতে ব্যস্ততা ছিল তুঙ্গে। স্কুল পরিষ্কার, স্যানিটাইজেশন - সবই চলেছে জোরকদমে। এতদিন নিস্তব্ধ হয়েছিল ক্লাসরুমগুলি। আবার তা ভরে উঠবে ছাত্রছাত্রীদের কোলাহলে। তাই সাজো, সাজো রব সব স্কুলে। শ্রেণিকক্ষ ও অফিস ঝাড়পোঁছ করা হয়। কীভাবে কোভিড বিধি মেনে ঠিকমতো সবকিছু হবে তা নিয়ে চিন্তা থাকলেও, স্কুল অবশেষে খোলায় সবাই খুশি। স্কুল খোলার এই পদক্ষেপ পড়ুয়াদের জন্যে জরুরি ছিল বলেই মত মনোবিদদের। তবে তাঁদের বার্তা, কোভিড বিধি ভুললে চলবে না।
স্কুলে যাওয়া। ক্লাস করা। বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে আড্ডা, টিফিন শেয়ার। এই রুটিন অনেকদিন আগেই কেড়ে নিয়েছে করোনাকাল। অনলাইন পড়াশোনার নতুন অভ্যেস তৈরি হয়ে গিয়েছিল। তবে এবার তা থেকে বেরিয়ে আসার পালা। আপাতত ক্লাসে ফিরছে এইট থেকে টুয়েলভের পড়ুয়ারা। তবে ছোটদের জন্যেও স্কুল খোলার দাবি ইতিমধ্যে উঠতে শুরু করেছে।
