ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday urged Muslim countries to face the challenges of the union.
In his speech at the 48th session of the International Council of Ministers (OIC), he argued that unless the Islamic state was united, it would continue to undermine the very conditions of normal liberation. He stressed the strong voice of the OIC, speaking to 1.5 billion people, to resolve the Kashmir and Palestinian issues. He also proposed the joint efforts of the OIC and China to enforce an agreement between Russia and Ukraine, while urging Muslim communities to remain neutral and contribute to harmony rather than being seen as important in any alliance.
He said, "We have bombed two Palestinian people and Kashmiris. I am saddened to say that we have a choice that has no effect in any way, despite the terrible voice of. The world is not mistreating us. But our voice to stop this obvious injustice is irrelevant ". However, the Prime Minister explained, "We are not looking to conquer the country. We are just talking about the basic freedoms of the people of Kashmir and Palestine."
He reminded the local community to make a promise to the Kashmiris long ago to allow them to decide their fate. He also added that he would hold a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on how China and the OIC could intervene to end the agreement as the dispute had begun to harm the world, seen as rising oil, gas, and wheat prices.
In Afghanistan, he called for critical national security following 40 years of conflict and called for the lifting of international sanctions to avoid an impending emergency, emphasizing the best way to end Afghanistan's depression was to empower and support a stable government.
