Asia Cup 2022 will be held in UAE, confirms BCCI president
The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly Thursday declared that the Asia Cup 2022, which was at first wanted to happen in Sri Lanka, will presently be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
After the Board's Apex Council meeting in Mumbai, Ganguly let columnists know that Asia Cup will be held in the UAE, as it is the main spot where there is no downpour conjecture
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) was educated by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Wednesday that the Island country can not have the Asia Cup because of the country's continuous political and monetary unrest.
Because of the emergency, the SLC as of late chosen to defer the third time of the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
The Asia Cup, which will be played in the T20 design, is booked to occur from August 27 to September 11.
