The new iPhone 14 pro Max has appeared, but it's not just the biggest phone in the world. It is also one of the most powerful phones of its kind. Here are all those features to take a second look at.
IPhone 14 Pro Max
The iPhone 14 pro Max was produced by Apple and is offered in five variants: 5G variant, 6GB + 128GB model and 8GB + 256GB model. In this version the latest A-series chip will be used, as an option for users who prefer faster processors; meanwhile, there are two options available: 64 + 128GB or 32 + 256GB. As you can see, there are many different models available. These come with various specifications: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model with a price €1 999, 8GB RAM + 256GB model with a €2999 price tag, 12GB RAM + 256GB model with £3999 price tag, 16GB RAM + 256GB model with a £4999 price tag. Our iPhone 12 Pro Max and our iPad Air 2 have both been the best mobile devices in years, with the latter having won many awards. However, the fact that these have cost more than most other recent iPhones should tell us something, since many people can’t afford them. If we were to buy a brand new iPhone 7 or iPhone 6s we would now have enough money to make this a worthy alternative to older models.
IPhone 14 Pro Max display
The iPhone 14 pro Max displays a 120Hz refresh speed screen that allows for smoother scrolling. But how does it display more than 1,000 pixels at a time? To answer that question we need to know some technical details. First, each pixel has 4 independent sub-pixels. Then each pixel is controlled by three color sub-pixels. For example we have a red, green and blue pixel that we control by a red sub-pixel. This results in three separate colors, which makes viewing photos and videos much easier. If you want to keep the resolution, then the maximum resolution is 3,340 x 1,080 pixels. Although this is fairly high for such a small iPhone screen, we would be satisfied with it for video applications and gaming videos. Also, the highest resolution allows for editing images without losing quality and so on. We are going to leave this discussion aside for now but if anything happens after we write another post on it, we hope you have a solution!
IPhone 14 Pro Max cameras
IPhone 11 series (6.7" and 6.5" models) and iPhone X series (6.1" models) had their own camera system. The wide angle lens and telephoto lenses were replaced by dual autofocus system. They used two sensors - both for macro shots and macro photography. And there was a single sensor for selfies and video calls. With this switch we were able to use four different lenses, making perfect photo and selfie possibilities. Now the iPhone 14 pro models take advantage of the advantages of previous devices. To provide an improvement on the main one they developed a third front lens and a fourth tele lens - for better zoom shots. This fourth lens is used to give the final product a larger aperture, so even without using the ultra zoom we are getting the same output when using the regular zoom for pictures and video calls. The whole setup has two main lenses. So we have a three-lens, a first one that helps us shoot macro shots, a third one that is used to give better clarity close objects and a fourth one that allows us to get closer to subjects. All lenses work well together.
The iPhone 13 series too has benefited greatly from the extra wide angle lens found on a 6.7" model. Alongside the new LiDAR scanner the lenses in these models became a bit better known. This means that the primary lens used in the back and the side of the camera becomes a useful tool. There are several versions of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The one on the bottom takes great pictures and the one above works very well. You can choose between the two models, which have different body configurations. Both of them are quite thin, lightweight phones with great batteries and big screens. The first model is slightly bigger, while the second model is smaller and lighter yet still very satisfying, especially for those looking for value and power at any price. And with only one camera this adds quite a lot to the design.

This time around the primary camera of the iPhone 14 pro Max has a 50MP module – although this may seem like too little, it is a bit different than the one in our favorite cameras of the current generations. Like the others, this one uses HDR 10+ support and it supports Night Mode captures. While the rest of the main cameras are unchanged, the ultrawide and macro lens are now also possible thanks to a new algorithm. The iPhone 13 Series uses an equivalent model and the reason for doing this is simple. At that point we had to focus more attention on the front facing of the back screen and the lack of telephoto lens. The result is noticeable and we can now do things with the top edge, the middle edge and the lower part of the screen. That’s what the iPhone 13 series did so far - the ability to take bigger photographs with the same amount of information. Of course this is not ideal for taking action or watching a movie, because none of us wants to feel bored on a computer screen.
The iPhone 13 model does not introduce a new front lens and as always we do not have a choice. The iPhone 13 Pro Max introduced one and the results are impressive. The ultrawide lens is one of the best on the market today and even though it does not work in Live Photos applications it gives a glimpse of how the picture will appear, even with noise. There is also a dedicated night mode as it allows you to capture beautiful light effects without requiring to resort to artificial lighting. Just don’t take your photos in such poor conditions, it doesn’t help!
A special feature of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is that it supports Cinematic Sound Recording. By recording sounds through stereo microphones, it is possible to record sound from a moving car or someone walking around in front of a building. To connect it up you can play recorded music via a wireless speaker on the back of the iPhone 14 Pro Max or by connecting it via Bluetooth to your compatible headphones.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max introduced Dolby Atmos, an audio format in which recordings are shown while the person speaking is playing something. Dolby Atmos brings the possibility for cinema experience back to home entertainment. People could no longer hide behind a TV and their music, they could just listen to whatever they wanted and hear all kinds of unique sounds in a surround sound environment. Even though Netflix and Disney are creating movies and shows shot in cinemas, it is still worth experiencing the movie in a theatre with their own actors.
