Mediation yoga means being comfortable with your mind and thoughts. When you are irritable with your thoughts and ideology, you can use your mind properly and miracles. The word meditation is derived from the Sanskrit root "Yuj," which means to join any work. To achieve the main purpose of life, the rituals that have to be done from mind to body are also meditation. Maharishi Patanjali had defined meditation yoga as "Mediation yoga without the mind's breaths" in this way. In the Gita, Lord Srikrishna had called the separation from the world of sorrow and the union with the Supreme Soul as meditation yoga. It is a spiritual practice in which the knowledge of the soul and supreme soul is fully combined.
The importance of meditation yoga is described in Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, Yogavishishtas, and Darshanas. In all, meditation yoga has been considered as the way to attain salvation, nirvana, samadhi. The main eight parts of meditation are Yama, Niyam, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi. The first five limbs of meditation are called Bahiranga Sadhana, and the last three limbs are called Intaranga Sadhana. By practicing these eight limbs with reverence, one gets rid of sorrow. Save the soul immersed in the ocean of life, being engrossed in self-philosophy, by meditating on your own. Meditation yoga is the best method for spiritual practices, which provides salvation while providing physical, mental, and spiritual health. Health is at the root of all the four Purusharthas Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha in human life, and the one that gives that health is meditation yoga.
If someone wants to start meditation yoga, he can start at any time. This means there is no time restriction for doing meditation yoga. Always choose a quiet and fixed place to meditate; if it is not there, then it will work.
