Match preview
Islamabad United and Peshawar Jalmi are determined to win the most important match and secure their place in the PSL points table. Any team victory would move them to third place in the table and maximize the chances of qualifying for the PSL 2022 play-offs.
Islamabad United had a stunning victory over the Karachi Kings in their previous encounter, but lost it as they lost Shadab Khan and Zeeshan Jamir with injuries. Mohammad Akhlaq has also been ruled out with a hamstring injury and is likely to miss the match, but Alex Hales will not be available after withdrawing from the tournament. Colin Munro may return after recovering from injury, with Asif Ali being given team command for the first time.

Peshawar Jalmi, on the other hand, is in the race for a two-match victory and it looks like they have found their winning combination. The introduction of Mohamed Harris, who topped the order, helped change the team dynamics, and with all the players fit and firing, they look like favorites to facilitate their place in the PSL playoffs.
Islamabad United are likely to make a number of changes, some forcing and some for team change. Munro, Hurairah, Musa Khan and Zahid Mahmood can be called in the lineup. Meanwhile, Peshawar can be said to have changed XI.

X Factor
Faheem Ashraf has been in excellent form for the last few matches. Although he has excelled with the ball for Islamabad over the years, his power hitting in the back of the innings has been really impressive in the last few matches. Faheem hopes to continue his purple patch in the Islamabad three divisions.
Muhammad Haris is a revelation to Peshawar who is at the top of the order. He is awesome with his ****** game and his range of shots makes him an exciting player to watch. Jalmi hopes that Harris will continue his good form and give him another solid start.
