Top Liked Ever Post Lionel Messi World Cup On Instagram

The footballer got over 65 million likes just hours after posting it, and that number keeps going up.

Argentina won the World Cup for the first time in 36 years, defeating France on penalties in the final on Sunday in Qatar.

Over a million more people liked Messi's Instagram post than the previous record-breaking post, which was just a picture of an egg

Wait, what was that about an egg?

After "feeling the pressure" of all the attention it has received, Eugene's egg has cracked.

People who feel the same way are encouraged to seek assistance in a message that was posted alongside the broken egg.

The original image, which was posted in January, has been liked by more than 52 million people.

The egg appeared to have only one goal when it first appeared online: to prevent Kylie Jenner from becoming the "Queen of Instagram."

The following message was included: Let's collaborate to achieve the Instagram post with the most likes and set a world record. Beating Kylie Jenner's current world record of 18 million! We got this.

Eugene beat the reality TV star's picture of her holding S T O R M-I, her newborn daughter, in just nine days.

From the account @world_record_egg, six images of the egg have been posted since January 4 with varying degrees of damage.

A video of the egg cracking is included in this post, along with the caption: "Phew! I've never felt better. To learn more, go to talkingegg.info if you're feeling the pressure. Together, let's create this list."

It first aired as part of Hulu's coverage of the Super Bowl, but it now appears on the egg's Instagram page.

Followers are then taken to a website with a list of countries and the various mental health services in those countries via a link.

Who was behind @world_record_egg and how it gained so many likes so quickly had sparked a lot of speculation.

Many people thought it was a marketing ploy by a large company that had bought followers. However, British advertising executive Chris Godfrey has since claimed that he and two others created it and that their only goal was to get as many likes as possible rather than promote or advertise anything.

The egg is a great way to reach a lot of people now that it has more than 10 million followers.

The egg's creators have not disclosed whether they were compensated by Hulu for the campaign or whether it will promote additional content on Instagram

Although British advertising executive Chris Godfrey has since claimed that he created it along with two others and that their sole purpose was to obtain as many likes as possible, some people claimed that it was a marketing ploy from a large company that had purchased followers.

However, despite the egg surpassing Jenner's record of 57 million, it has finally been surpassed by a rival who holds several world records of his own: Messi, Lionel.

Guinness World Records published a list of records broken by the winner after the World Cup final, noting that Messi had surpassed Germany's Lothar Matthäus for the record for most World Cup matches played (26), in addition to four other records:

11 - Most World Cup Man of the Match Awards 19 - Most World Cup appearances as captain 5 - Most World Cup tournament appearances by a male player First person to assist (with a goal) at five different World Cups With the success of his latest Instagram gallery, Messi now has yet another record to add to his collection
