There is a list of things to consider when selecting excavator shears for excavator crusher attachment:

1. What's the excavator model be mounted. Mounted to boom, stick or long arm?

Different mounting location will effect the models because of excavator's lifting weight limitation.

2. What kind of materials to cut? How thick?

Hydraulic shear are ideal for cutting iron pipe, I-beam, aluminum, and large OTR/mining tires, cable, etc, But there are some specially hardened materials like cast steel can't be cut through. (Hardness can't be more than 40HRC)

3. Choose hydraulic shear with one or two cylinder?

Hydraulic shear with two cylinders have more cutting power than one cylinder compare for same excavator weight. Best suitable for primary demolition or processing for decommissioning buildings, bridges, or other structures where they were originally erected.

Hydraulic shear with one cylinder will be more suitable for processing materials that have been removed during primary demolition at another site. It's the necessary tools in each scrap yards.
