WHAT HAPPENED
Second half goals from Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson gave us another win in a tough pre-season friendly in Orlando.
Gabriel Martinelli gave us an early lead but the hosts, encouraged by a raucous crowd, struck before half-time.
But in the end we outplayed our MLS rivals to make it four wins out of four in a tight season.
Kickoff was delayed an hour at Orlando City's Exploria Stadium due to a fierce pre-game thunderstorm.
When the game finally got going, it wasn't long before we opened the scoring. In fact, not even five minutes had passed when Martinelli exchanged passes with Sambi Lokonga in the box and his shot beat goalkeeper Pedro Gallese with a rebound.
There were few chances after that and although we looked comfortable in possession Aaron Ramsdale was called on midway through the half to deny Benji Michel after the winger had jumped into the offside trap. The keeper came up big to save with his feet when one on one.
However, Ramsdale was unable to prevent another effort. Facundo Torres curled his shot low against the post from 20 yards to equalize and send the crowd into a frenzy.
Orlando City is halfway through the MLS season and currently sits in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. Next week, they will face the New York Red Bulls in the semi-finals of the US Open Cup. Their sharpness was evident, as was their commitment. There were three yellow cards in the opening 20 minutes.
We started answering. Rob Holding's deflected header from a corner fell to Nketiah but he was closed in the six-yard box as he cleared his shot.
Just before half-time, he again found space in the box, but this time he curled his shot just wide.
The boss made five changes at the break, including bringing on Gabriel Jesus, who tested the goalkeeper within 60 seconds of his introduction.
He then turned his man in the box before seeing his shot from a tight angle deflected away.
Lokonga was next to try his luck before our extended pressure eventually led to a second goal.
Jesus - a live wire from the moment he came on - spun his man in the box and looked to be fouled, but either way the ball fell to partner Nketiah who made no mistake.
Nelson, who had just come off the bench, added a third when he converted Bukayo Saka's cross.
It was another job well done from Arteta's men as they advance in pre-season.
