Top grade TV series "The Mandalorian"

The representative of the once mighty race of noble warriors is now forced to drag out a miserable existence among the dregs of society.

The action of this series takes place 5 years after the events of Return of the Jedi and 25 years before The Force Awakens, which means that only memories remain of the great Empire, and the First Order has not yet been formed. However, in the outskirts of the galaxy, there are still soldiers of the Empire dedicated to their great cause. The Mandalorian himself, played by Pedro Pascal (you may know him from the role of Javier Peña in Narcos), is one of the best mercenaries in his district. An orphan of the great tribe of warriors to which Boba Fett himself belonged, he is taciturn and assertive, his love of money is as great as his hatred of droids. Working for Grif Cargo, he performs various types of assignments, but for the most part, he is engaged in the capture of fugitives, being a sort of bounty hunter. It is Grif who brings our protagonist to the Imperials, who, without burdening our hero with the details of the personality of the next target, hire the Mandalorian for an extremely dangerous but lucrative task. And I must say, the goal itself will not disappoint you, but I would not like to burden you with spoilers, as there are fears that this goal will also be a spoiler for the upcoming 9th movie of the universe: Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. Sunrise".

In this series, there is something that is so lacking in almost all series about superheroes (except for The CW, nothing will help him), namely, connection with the main plot branch that covers all the silver screens of the world from time to time. So when watching the series, the viewer can always count on the fact that he will already be satisfied with familiar and beloved characters, from which a smile will involuntarily shine on his face. Here, like nowhere else, you can count on tons of Easter eggs, which can be recognized by both ordinary viewers who jumped into the light, and hardcore fans of the franchise who know the size of the foot of the Greedo mercenary, as well as the dispersion of the Imperial rifle when firing on the move from a distance of 30 meters. But the universe is not only good for memories, in the series, there will also be many new life forms that the viewer has not seen so far, like the fish-like Blurgs that our hero will encounter in the first series. The Blogs themselves, like all the other motley inhabitants of the galaxy, look simply amazing. I have not seen many series where the computer graphics would be at such a high level, and that is why all the flora and fauna look so authentic. But not only this series is rich in computer graphics, but beautiful scenery also looks no less chic and realistic, and there is practically no difference with films whose budget is tens and hundreds of millions.

And of course, the trump card of this masterpiece is animatronics, a technology that was used by Lucas himself in the very first films about a galaxy far, far away, and that is why, when watching the series, there is a feeling of nostalgia and familiarity. Everything from the scene transitions to the sounds made by the Razer Cross, the Mandalorian's own ship, looks and sounds so familiar (and it's no coincidence since the sounds are exact copies of those made by the Millennium Falcon). When shooting on location, with the aforementioned scenery, live-time rendering technology was used on the engine of the same Star Wars game that buried EA. It was with the help of this technology that the director could change the angles and arrangement of objects to get the best shot. While Jon Favreau worked directly with George Lucas himself on the story to create such an authentic series that would not be a deviation from the canon, but rather a continuation of it.
