1. Feluda: The creator of this character is the famous movie director, writer Satyajit Ray. In Bengali literature, the one we know as a detective in one word is Feluda alias Pradosh Chandra Mitra. We see him solving various thrilling mysteries with his nephew Tops and friend Lalmohan Ganguly. Feluda's first story was "Feludar Goyandagiri".He is 6 feet highted young man. He likes Charminar Cigarette. He also has good habits for reading various kinds of books. Faluda wants to solve Maths. Some of Saluda's detective stories are "Badsahi Anti," "Sayal Dabota Rohosso," "Gantok a Gondogol," etc.
2. Byomkesh Bakshi: The creator of this detective character is Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, the famous historical novelist of Bengal. Winning the hearts of readers of all ages, this character made his debut through the story "sayanashi." Sharadindu Bandopadhyay was inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. In the story of Sherlock Holmes, just as we see Watson as Holmes' assistant, Ajit is seen as Byomkesh's assistant. Byomkesh's wife's name is satyaboti. Some of the Bomkesh detective stories are "pother Kara," "Agun pakhi," "Durgo Rohosso," etc.
3. Professor Shanku: Professor Shanku is one of the immortal creations of Satyajit Ray. He is a selfless Bengali scientist who has won the hearts of readers of all ages. His scientific discoveries include pistols to wipe out anything like ethylene in the blink of an eye, Mira Curel to cure any ailment, Bori Batika Indica to quench hunger and thirst, and much more. We read Professor Shankur's stories in the form of diaries. Professor has a pet cat named Newtown. Avinash Babu, who is the neighbor of sank. Avinash Babu has no interest in science & technology. We find Avinash Babu in many stories of professor sankyu. some of his stories are "sornoporni," "Corvus," "professor sankyu o Macao," etc.
4 . Taranath Tantric: Taranath Tantric is the best character created by Taradas Bandyopadhyay, the worthy son of Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay, the famous writer, and creator of Pather Panchali. He is a Tantric with special powers. In his youth, he encountered various experiences on horseback to practice the Tantra mantra in different places. To hear those stories, his neighbor, the writer, and his writer's friend Kishori used to come to him whenever he got a chance to listen to the story. Some of Taranath Tantric Interesting stories are exits in the book " Taranath Trantric Somogro."
5. Kaka Babu: Kakababu, created by the famous Bengali writer Sunil Gangopadhyay, is an adventurous unmarried man. His real name is Raja Roy Chowdhury. He is a researcher by profession, historian, and geographer. His nephew Santu was the companion of all his adventures. She made her debut in Bengali literature with the story "Terrible Beautiful." Inspired by Premendra Mitra's "Mamababu," writer Sunil Gangopadhyay created the character Kakababu. Some of kaka Babu's adventure stories are "yeti avian" "misor Rohosso," "Kaka Babu here Galen ?" etc
Although many immortal literary characters have given us a gift in Bengali literature that has enriched Bengali literature, detective characters like Feluda, Byomkesh, and diverse characters like Professor Shanku, Taranath Tantric are at its top.
