Remember that unpleasant feeling in your stomach as if you had just eaten a balloon? And the tight-fitting dress immediately sits somehow differently, as if you ate a whole elephant with this spoon of ice cream. No, you have not recovered in size, just in the next few hours, there will be an “atomic war” in your stomach, which, however, could have been avoided by knowing which foods or their combinations cause bloating.
Bloating is not only unpleasant but also extremely unaesthetic. It occurs due to the formation of gases in the intestines, which burst our stomach, like hundreds of balloons. The reason is usually the use of a certain number of products, which either themselves are poorly absorbed in our body or make up an "explosive" combination with each other. Often, a feeling of overcrowding occurs due to too rapid absorption of food, which causes air in the stomach.
To avoid such sensations, you need to monitor not only the speed of eating but also what exactly you are now sending into your mouth. We have collected some of the most striking examples of products that are better to refuse if you are in a tight dress, on a date, or just do not want to feel discomfort in your stomach.
White bread, buns:
Wheat flour baked goods are generally a product that is best eliminated from your diet. Made from refined and fully processed grains, it does not offer any special, irreplaceable health or body benefits. In addition, the classic recipe assumes the content of sugar and yeast in bread. Both of these products contribute to gassing. When choosing bread, pay attention to one that is made without the use of yeast (most often, it will, of course, be black or gray) or whole grain. Both of these are the healthiest alternatives to soft white buns.

Sparkling water:
Hydrocarbon-rich beverages temporarily increase the volume of the stomach due to the accumulation of gases from the drink. The bloating will last from an hour to three and will be accompanied by heaviness and discomfort. In addition, most often carbonated water is sweet drinks containing an incredible amount of sugar, which, unfortunately, will not leave your body after a few hours, but will remain in it, hiding in fat depots.

Deep fat products:
Commercially prepared chips, french fries, and other fast food are unhealthy and, frankly, unhealthy food. Severity, bloating, discomfort in the abdomen will be guaranteed in any case. These foods contain large amounts of sugar, salt, spices, various preservatives, and other chemical additives that do not improve our health at all. Among other things, fast food is rich in trans fats, which can cause inflammation in the stomach.
Cottage cheese or yogurt with jam:
While this is one of the most popular breakfast options, combining sweet toppings with protein is not a great idea. For digestion, this mixture is extremely difficult: proteins are broken down for a long time and with a creak, and the jam, in the meantime, begins to ferment. What happens next, we think you guessed it.
Ice cream:
The favorite delicacy of childhood is fraught with a lot of deceit. Not only is this a real sugar bomb, but it also causes bloating, as it requires special conditions for digestion. Extremely cold food, and even containing lactose, is not so easy to digest in our stomach. Keep this in mind when once again ordering a couple of balls of this delicacy at a restaurant.
Grape:
Sweet and tasty grapes are, unfortunately, difficult to digest. It causes increased gas formation in the stomach and always provokes bloating. The same fruits that are better not to be eaten in critical situations include apples and peaches. The fact is that fruits rich in fructose (also include pears and melons, grapes) require a lot of energy from the body for digestion and certain enzymes, with which many have problems. Grapes also have difficult-to-digest skin. As a consequence of everything - bloating.
Processed meat:
This category includes all industrial meat products that were prepared without your participation: canned food, sausages, shop cutlets - that is, any semi-finished products. Nutritionists and doctors recommend completely excluding such foods from the diet, since, in addition to numerous "chemicals", they contain unhealthy fats that cause obesity and heart disease, and also contribute to inflammatory processes in the stomach. Returning to our main topic, sausages and sausages contain a large amount of sodium, which in excess leads to fluid retention in the body and, as a result, to edema. For you, this means a feeling of heaviness in the abdomen and its temporary increase in size.
Chewing gum and sugar-free sweets:
Such products, to proudly carry the sugar-free label, remove natural sugar from their formulation, replacing it with analogs such as xylitol, sorbitol, and maltitol. Such substitutes are only partially digested in the body and cause increased gas production. Chewing gum also boasts another great bonus: while chewing, not only sweet saliva gets into the stomach, but also air, which will expand the stomach from the inside.
Cabbage:
It seems that everyone knows that cabbage causes increased gas formation. For all the benefits of this product, it is better to skip it on those days when you need to look your 100%. However, there is one secret. Bloating is caused only by fresh cabbage, but thermally processed, it may well become a good product for a snack. The whole secret is in coarse fiber, which causes flatulence, but is destroyed during processing.
Legumes:

Another product, the gas-forming properties of which are known to everyone, without exception. In this case, bloating provokes a protein that our stomach lacks enzymes for complete and rapid digestion. Because of this, the beans begin to ferment in our stomach, causing bloating and discomfort. Soaking the beans before cooking can help a little.
