Why is India's independence on August 15, 1947 ?
Well non-mount Patton was the last viceroy of India, and he decided that India will gain its independence on August15,1947, so why August 15 is because that during the end of world war this world was second Japan surrendered on 1945 August 15th, so they chose the same day to be India's Independence Day.

Why India's Independence Day and Pakistan's Independence Day were meant to be on the same day ?
It's because the British ruled over the united India which consisted of today's Pakistan and India so why wasn't the independence on the same day Pakistan's Independence Day is on August 14th one day before in India's independence so why wasn't it on the same day this was also because of lord Mountbatten as he was the last viceroy of both the countries uh he was supposed to be at both the country's Independence Day celebrations um to avoid inconvenience he um he shifted the Independence Day of Pakistan Monday before the August 14th so that is why India and Pakistan not celebrate Independence Day on the same date.

What that's what we all learned in social studies in politics was not elected the first prime minister of India it was Siddharth who was elected the first prime minister of India but naniluji didn't wanted to be second in command and Gandhiji had a soft spot for Nehru and he knew that Nehru would be a very uh good and suitable prime minister for India and thus he was uh he was made the first prime minister of india and Saddam Alabama was made the first home minister of India so this might be shocking for many of you,and it was for me too when I was searching for some interesting facts in Youtube and Google so uh yeah and uh proved that he was worthy of the sport.

Fact five that we're going to be discussing today it is that Gandhiji the man who won his freedom the most important freedom fighter in the struggle for independence of India was not present at the first Independence Day celebrations on 1947 August 15th why because he was fasting against the partition of India and Pakistan that's why he wasn't present in the uh first celebrations of Independence Day of India so yeah that was a uh, uh the five interesting facts about India.
