Sizes

Bird eggs vary greatly in size, host broadcasts like the birds themselves.

The largest egg produced in the bird kingdom is the ostrich egg - weighing up to 1.2 kg.

The smallest egg produced in the bird kingdom is the hummingbird egg - it weighs half a gram.

So, ostrich eggs are 2000 times larger than hummingbird eggs!
