How does a double ball float switch work?
The double ball float switch (AIT-FQ200) is a high-reliability liquid level controller featuring two independent stainless steel float balls and magnetic reed switches for precise multi-point detection.
As liquid level changes, each float ball moves along the guide rod, and its built-in permanent magnet activates the sealed reed switch at preset positions, instantly outputting NO/NC switching signals. The dual-ball design provides two independent control points, enabling functions like high/low level alarms, automatic pump start-stop, overflow prevention, and dry-run protection.
With 316L stainless steel construction, fully sealed structure, and mercury-free reed contacts, this double ball float switch delivers excellent corrosion resistance, optional explosion-proof certification, and over 1 million cycles lifetime, ideal for water treatment, petrochemical, food processing, and marine applications.
