Tell us a little bit about how you ended yourself in this position.
Since the early days of mobile technology application development, I have always worked in the technology industry. In 2010, I cofounded my own company with my business partner, David Hague. We co-founded our first venture, a retail technology company. We established and sold the business three years later, and we stayed with it for another four years. We established Mission Labs in 2016, which is the trading entity behind CircleLoop, one of our products.
The traditional telecoms business was the industry and sector that we chose to disrupt with CircleLoop. We created a product thatCircleLoop is a digital-first, self-service SaaS application designed to challenge the usual in that business. The journey has been a huge success. We were bought by Gamma Communications in March 2021, and we are now part of a much larger company. With roughly 130 employees, our company is part of that group, and we continue to develop month after month as part of Gamma.
Congratulations. How thrilling. Tell me more about the CircleLoop tale. A little information about the markets you service, maybe the nations, products, and consumers.
As previously stated, we monitor the telecommunications business. Consuming business telephony and business phone systems is often a difficult sector for smaller organisations in particular. The beginning CircleLoop's product goal was to create a software-first, Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. You may go to CircleLoop.com, join up online, experience the product, and consume its features and capabilities for free. If they go there, they should be prepared and have their credit card information to become a paying client. The product is essentially a phone system.
It's all built on PC and mobile apps, but clients can self-serve and get started right away. In the telecom sector, we challenged the status quo. When interacting with traditional telecom firms, businesses were typically involved in several laborious processes. Perhaps getting trapped into contracts for two to three years. We wanted to turn that on its head after all these years. As other products are successfully done in other industries, we can provide our customers with a product that they can serve and grow on their own.As previously stated, we monitor the telecommunications business.
